Spotify’s first-ever RADAR Radio Live event brings together fans from all over the world to celebrate the rise of RIIZE.

RIIZE is the first K-Pop boy group that joined up for the program by Spotify. They will be joining over 900 other artists from across the globe that have thrived under it since its launch in 2020.

RADAR, Spotify’s global music program for emerging artists, has played an important part in developing the growth of emerging talent.

About RIIZE Spotify RADAR Radio Live event

On July 10, the Spotify-hosted RADAR Radio Live event in Seoul was one of the highlights of RIIZE’s RADAR campaign.

Particularly, to celebrate the release of the group’s debut mini album, RIIZING, the group provided their fans, BRIIZE, a chance to spend the evening with them. In addition to the 120 in-person attendees, viewers from all over the world watched the event via livestream.

To start the event, RIIZE welcomed and interacted with on-site fans. The members read heartfelt messages from fans and answered questions about their fellow members in a “TMI QUIZ.”

The next segment, which was webcast live for fans worldwide, began with an opening by special DJ WONBIN. After that, the fans were given the task with picking picture props that best matched each member of RIIZE in order to take group portraits for remembrance.

Spotify has given RIIZE its very own custom-made RADAR campaign. Its best-in-class editorial and marketing support in order to promote stronger interactions with listeners and encourage music discovery.

As a result, since becoming a RADAR artist, the group has seen over 40% growth in monthly streams and a 13% increase in monthly listeners on Spotify.

Jungjoo Park, Spotify’s Head of Music, South Korea stated, “Spotify is committed to supporting diverse Korean music genres and artists through programs like RADAR, connecting them with listeners worldwide.” He also added that the event is “a testament to our dedication, and we will continue to create special moments to showcase Korean artists to both their fans and new listeners.”
