On January 23, CIX released their 7th EP, Thunder Fever, marking their first album of 2025. The album features three (3) new tracks, with “Thunder” as the title track, along with new versions of their two (2) previously released songs, “Lovers or Enemies” and “My Name is Shadow.”
CIX, a South Korean K-pop group under C9 Entertainment, debuted in 2019 with their EP HELLO Chapter 1: Hello, Stranger. The name ‘CIX’ stands for ‘Complete in X,’ symbolizing how the members’ uncertainties come together to form a unified whole. FIX, their fandom name, stands for ‘Faith in X.’ The group includes BX, Seunghun, Yonghee, and Hyunsuk.
Thunder Fever captures the intensity of thunder and lightning, blending anxiety with powerful emotions. It takes FIX on an emotional journey from doubt to hope, finding solace and light in their unity. This album features tracks that truly embody the essence of CIX.

BAD MOVES
CIX opened their 7th EP with some “Bad Moves,” exploring the emotional struggle of being trapped in a cycle of a toxic relationship. Torn between wanting to leave and being unable to, the song captures the conflict of loving someone so deeply that you can’t escape, even as it causes pain.
For those torn between love and self-preservation, “Bad Move” resonates deeply. Its haunting instrumentals and layered vocals draw us into its emotional depth, reminding us of moments when we knew we should walk away but couldn’t—when emotions outweighed reason, and love felt both like a refuge and a prison.
THUNDER

LOVER OR ENEMIES
The song “Lovers or Enemies” delivers a message about the intense emotional duality of a relationship, where love and hate are deeply intertwined.
