In a move that’s sure to delight Moomoos worldwide, Moonbyul’s solo this February!
RBW Entertainment shared the surprising news involving the first full solo album of Mamamoo member, Moonbyul, via the group’s social media accounts on January 22.
The official teaser showcases a cozy, quick-cut montage of the sea, nature, and animals. Afterward, a small group of stars litters the screen. They then mimic a constellation, forming the title of the album, Starlit of Muse. This will be Moonbyul’s first individual project since 2022’s The Present.
Mamamoo’s Moonbyul First Solo Full Album
This marks an exciting time for Moonbyul’s career. Along with her contributions to Mamamoo, she is no stranger to releasing EPs. “Selfish” is an expressive duet with Red Velvet’s Seulgi, and the cleverly titled Dark Side of the Moon brought us the tantalizing “Eclipse.” Both releases marked a turning point in her career, proving she could deliver amazing performances on her own. What makes Starlit of Muse extra special is that it will be Moonbyul’s first full-length release!

With this upcoming project, Moonbyul follows in Wheein’s footsteps, as they are now the first two members to have released full-length work. Solar and Hwasa will follow suit soon, and it will be just as exciting to see what they offer then. Fortunately, even with the litany of solo projects, the quartet remains as strong and committed as ever.
But for now, it will be intriguing to see what Moonbyul’s solo release will bring to the table. Will it be as explosive as Eclipse, as cheery as Selfish, or perhaps something entirely new together?
After showing us the light and dark sides of the moon, what could be in store for us next? Whatever musical journey the charismatic rapper may embark on, she will shine as brightly as possible!
