LUCY returns with Childish, a reflective second full album exploring adulthood’s weight and the longing for childlike wonder.

South Korean band LUCY has released their second full-length album, Childish, marking their first group comeback following military service completion. The album continues the band’s “inner child” narrative. It explores the tension between adult reality and the longing to preserve youthful imagination.

Released on April 29, 2026, Childish builds on themes first introduced in their earlier work Childhood. The album combines 15 tracks in total. This includes six songs from WAJANGCHANG. Four from SUNFLOWER, and five newly written and composed tracks by members CHO WONSANG and SHIN GWANGIL.

According to CHO WONSANG, the album reflects a continued exploration of identity and emotional sincerity. He described it as a story of rediscovering innocence within the constraints of adult life. Also, he emphasized the group’s intent to maintain emotional honesty through their music.

Moreover, the album opens with “발아 (Sprout),” which introduces a dreamlike soundscape centered on rediscovery. It is followed by the title track “전체관람가 (All Ages),” which expresses a desire to see the world through a childlike lens. Other standout tracks include “Chameleon,” a funk-infused song addressing self-acceptance and identity shifts under social pressure, and “Porch Light (Feat. 남제현 Skyelar),” which captures warmth and belonging through imagery of returning home. SHIN GWANGIL also contributes “구구절절 (blah-blah-blah),” a bright, guitar-driven track about the excitement of new romantic feelings.

SHIN GWANGIL noted that the album represents both continuity and growth for the group, incorporating material from their earlier mini albums alongside new compositions. He highlighted the band’s intention to preserve their signature sound while expanding their emotional range.

Beyond the album release, LUCY has expanded their fan engagement through the launch of their official fan club “WALWALE,” strengthening their global community presence.

The band is also preparing for a major concert titled 2026 LUCY 9TH CONCERT <ISLAND>, scheduled for May 16 and 17 at KSPO DOME in Seoul. Additional appearances include the 2026 Weverse Con Festival on June 6.

Since debuting in 2020, LUCY has built a reputation for self-produced music and a distinct sonic identity, combining band instrumentation with experimental textures. Their consistent growth, sold-out concerts, and international touring history continue to position them as one of the leading acts in the Korean band scene.
