Let’s go, CARATS! This year, SEVENTEEN’s DxS flex their undeniable vocals with their 1st Mini Album Serenade!
SEVENTEEN’s main vocalists, Lee Dokyeom and Boo Seungkwan, are kicking off 2026 with their beautiful new mini album, Serenade. These two vocal powerhouses have already teamed up in a subunit before (see: BSS!) so this shouldn’t be too unfamiliar. After all, we’ve already seen them take the world by storm as both members of SEVENTEEN and BSS!
Serenade officially got released on January 12, 2026. They also released a cinematic music video for the track “Blue” starring actors Lee Yoo-mi and Noh Sanghyun. The album itself goes through all the emotions of a relationship. It started from the heart-fluttering first moments to the heart-wrenching end.

“Blue” Cinematic MV
Serenade has six tracks, two of which are solos—Rockstar (DK Solo) and Dream Serenade (SEUNGKWAN Solo). All of them showcase Dokyeom and Seungkwan’s incredible versatility as not only singers, but artists.
It’s the kind of music that we expect from them as vocal unit members. But sprinkled with more of their personal touches. It touches on not only the lingering sadness and trauma of love, but also on the seductive allure of it as well as the renewal that comes with fresh beginning and new ends.
“Blue” is the second track in the six-track mini album. It has its own seven-minute cinematic video where we watch how a traumatic incident changes the love and circumstances of a couple.
While love is definitely still there between them both, “Blue” tackles how sometimes fighting and enduring through it together is sometimes not enough for both of them.
With the lyrics “Still, I want you” and “Falling in your blue,” we see how one person’s pain manifests and spreads between them both, fracturing the relationship to a degree where it becomes almost impossible to fix.
