SUGA of BTS surprises ARMYs with a film treat as “Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE” makes its debut on the big screen.
“Future’s Gonna Be Okay”—every ARMY can assure of that. Min Yoongi, most known as SUGA of BTS, recaps his solo tour in the film. SUGA’s “Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE” cinematic cut starts screening on April 10 and 13 worldwide.
The pioneering member of BTS to go on a solo world tour is SUGA. Putting on a concert that graced the crowd for his journey in music, SUGA performed to celebrate the AGUST D trilogy eras: Agust D (2016), D-2 (2020), and D-Day (2023). Through the three eras of SUGA’s music, he also portrayed three personas—Yoongi, SUGA, and AGUST D.
“Agust D TOUR ‘D-DAY’ THE MOVIE” served as SUGA’s life journal throughout his career as a rapper, producer, and BTS member. Moreover, in an interview with WeVerse Magazine, SUGA expressed his sentiments about the tour.
“Whether it’s SUGA, Agust D, or Min Yoongi, I think this performance embodies the essence of who I am as a person,” SUGA says.
“The integration of all the data I’ve accumulated since I first stepped on the stage 15–16 years ago. Through this ‘D-DAY’ tour, I was able to release my pent-up passion and love for performing, which have been suppressed during the three years of the pandemic,” SUGA shared.
“I feel that this tour itself is a ritual and an act of forgiving all my past selves,” SUGA added.
Furthermore, BTS members are now serving their mandatory military service and are set to return in 2025. Meanwhile, SUGA assured ARMYs that they would come back soon as a team and perform for them again.
“I felt and learned a lot through this tour. I can’t wait to go on a tour again with all seven of us. Maybe if I just close my eyes and open them, the seven of us will be on tour together. Please wait a little bit, holding on to the good memories and positive feelings from this tour. I would appreciate it,” SUGA promised.
