Everyone, listen! BOYNEXTDOOR releases a hip-hop song titled “Dangerous” ahead of their 19.99 album comeback.
On September 2, the pre-release hip-hop single “Dangerous” by BOYNEXTDOOR became available. With a youthful and playful sound, the hip-hop single explores the concept of a midnight escape that you don’t want your parents to know about.

Members Jaehyun, Taesan, and Woonhak contributed to the song’s lyrics and composition. Before and during the recording of this pre-release track, BOYNEXTDOOR discussed their ideas.
Riwoo, expressing curiosity about the lyrics, noted that they contain cute deviations that people our age can easily relate to. I felt like it was something that my parents shouldn’t see.” Sungho also shares, “As soon as I heard the song, I thought that we had to show it properly on stage. You’ll be able to see BOYNEXTDOOR’s reckless charm.”
“This is our first intense hip-hop song. We worked hard to find novel ideas during the process,” Jaehyun stated, emphasizing his excitement about embarking on a new genre. Taesan said, “The lyrics and theme that contain the members’ real experiences are the point of this song. We paid attention to each person’s individuality while recording,” he said, sharing his thoughts about the song.
Lee Han commented, “When I first heard it, the beat was different, and I looked forward to the performance.” Woonhak highlighted his confidence, adding, “While working on this song, I was convinced that it had a unique and fun sound. I felt proud while making the song and preparing for the comeback.”

According to YG PLUS, pre-orders have sold 815,225 copies of BOYNEXTDOOR’s third mini-album, 19.99. This represents about a 42% increase over the final pre-order total (571,600 copies) for their previous second mini album, HOW?. Also, the “Dangerous” music video surpassed 10 million views on YouTube and 1.2 million plays on Spotify.
Meanwhile, BOYNEXTDOOR is set to make a comeback on September 9 with their third mini-album, 19.99.
