ARrC with MOON SUA and SIYOON

The new single album CTRL+ALT+SKIID brings together ARrC and Billlie’s MOON SUA and SIYOON for a powerful, genre-blending collaboration that hits reset on the K-pop scene.

On November 3rd, 2025, the multinational K-pop group ARrC released their new single album, CTRL+ALT+SKIID, featuring the title track “SKIID. It was first teased during promotions for their recent mini-album HOPE—and a second track, “WoW (Way of Winning),” with MOON SUA and SIYOON of the popular girl group Billlie. Hyumin, a member of ARrC, said:

This collaboration went beyond just working together—it was a time that inspired me greatly, musically.

Redefining the Rhythm: “SKIID”

“SKIID” introduces a new groove called the SKIID rhythm by placing a unique upbeat on the snare within a 4/4 rhythm. Though the arrangement is minimal, each sound carries a distinct texture, creating a richly layered sonic landscape. Moreover, the song captures the struggles of teenagers who feel as though they’re “slipping through errors,” trapped in endless loops of exams, competition, and helplessness—expressed through digital metaphors like “404” and “system down.”

The term “SKIID” reinterprets “skid,” with the extra “i” symbolizing ARrC’s creative twist on the familiar shortcut CTRL+ALT+DEL—the command people use when a system freezes. In addition, by replacing “DEL” with “SKIID,” ARrC proposes their own version of a reboot: one where everything slides, smears, and loops, yet continues to restart. With lyrics like “turn it back on” and “reboot everything,” the track delivers a playful, realistic message of recovery—acknowledging that even within life’s endless crashes, we keep rebooting and moving forward.

Collaboration Beyond Boundaries in “WoW (Way of Winning)”

ANDY, member of ARrC, said that working with MOON SUA and SIYOON was indeed a meaningful experience, where he learned how to truly enjoyed performing on stage.

“WoW (Way of Winning)” is a pop-house dance track inspired by the UK garage genre. Like the title track, it features a minimal yet dynamic production, allowing each sound to stand out with precision. Furthermore, the lyrics portray the determination to hit “Restart” instead of “Game Over,” with lines like “an anti-climax with no finish line” and “Game over ain’t over,” reflecting the irony, humor, and resilience of Gen Z’s drive to move forward despite uncertainty.

Featuring MOON SUA and SIYOON of Billlie—both labelmates of ARrC—the two not only contributed their vocals but also participated in writing the song’s lyrics.

MOON SUA said:

As musicians who love music, it was a great experience to share this creative journey together. I hope that our collaboration on ‘WoW (Way of Winning)’ serves as a meaningful opportunity for growth for all of us.

While SIYOON added that:

Inspired by ARrC’s passion, I really enjoyed recording and working on this track. It’s a song where different generations and emotions naturally come together, and I hope many people will listen and connect with it.
