ARrC Finds Light in the Chaos with New Album, HOPE

K-Pop

Five months after their energetic release of “nu kidz: out the box,” K-pop multinational group ARrC returns with a bold yet heartfelt statement in their third mini album, HOPE.

From self-worth to unity, ARrC redefines optimism in their third mini-album. With members ANDY, CHOI HAN, DOHA, HYUNMIN, JIBEEN, KIEN, RIOTO, and as their name represents—Always Remember the real Connection (ARrC)—the album is a sonic and emotional journey through anxiety, self-discovery, and the power of staying connected in tough times for the members and their fans.

No bad days for ARrC. Fronted by the addictive title track “awesome,” ARrC flips bad days on their head with early 2000s-inspired beats and youthful energy.

Mythical dokkaebi, colorful masks, and cultural homages in the music video all point to a deeper message: “Optimism isn’t being naive— it’s a choice.”

“We hope to send positive energy and solace to many people through our music,” said ARrC’s leader, HYUNMIN, who made his debut as a contributor for their album’s lyrics.

“I hope that through our music and hope in our album, we can give ARrCers more energy to get through the day or even some comfort, since all the songs in the album have different vibes,” said HYUNMIN.

“All ARrC songs are about self-esteem, so if you’re feeling self-conscious, listen to our songs, and we can figure out a way out!” he added.

Expression is power

Beyond the title song, HOPE’s five-track album explores a spectrum of the youth’s inner world.

The song “dawns,” co-written by HYUNMIN and CHOI HAN, turns late-night scrolling into a soulful connection, while “kick back” shouts defiance against isolation.

Moreover, the song “vitamin I” is about believing in yourself more than society’s approval. For DOHA, the album reflects the group’s collective growth. Revealing the team was able to share their appreciation for each effort extended into creating the album.

“One of the most memorable moments during recording was when we finally listened to the completed track after each member had recorded their parts. We gave each other feedback, saying things like, ‘You did so well here,’ or ‘That art really shows how much effort you put in,'” DOHA shared.

“It felt like we were growing together as a team, which was emotional and fulfilling to realize how much stronger and more connected we’ve become through music,” he furthered.

Real connections, global hearts

Moving on in creating music to transcend more than just mere beats and melodies, JIBEEN, who traces his roots to Brazil, finds the project is especially meaningful.

“To me, the name ARrC isn’t just a team name, but it holds meaning in connection and sincerity,” JIBEEN expressed.

“Being able to express my heart through singing and dancing in the same language on stage feels both incredible and deeply grateful. I want to show that we’re a team that can truly connect beyond nationality and language, heart to heart,” he concluded.

With HOPE, ARrC doesn’t just return—they rise, reminding listeners everywhere that optimism isn’t just a feeling. It’s a force.
