Another song that should be on your weekend playlist is eaJ and Salem Ilese’s collaboration, “burn.”
A compelling indie pop record that captures the turbulence of love and heartbreak, “burn” features the first-ever collaboration between Korean-American singer-songwriter eaJ (Jae Park) and pop sensation Salem Ilese.
In addition to the song, eaJ will be releasing an extended play (EP) on September 20th called when the rain stopped following me. Melodically capturing the ups and downs of negotiating a convoluted inner monologue, “burn” features sincere lyrics from both artists that portray the turmoil of love and animosity. An anthem for everybody who has ever been burned by love, “burn” builds to a climactic chorus that begs to be screamed loudly.
“burn” is the follow-up to his highly successful single “right where you left me,” which he co-wrote with famous Indonesian singer-songwriter HINDIA. That single reached the top of several popular Spotify playlists, including Lagi Viral, ORG., Pop Rising Indonesia, and New Music Friday Indonesia’s coveted playlist cover.

“Friendly Fire” delves into the intricacies of a troubled relationship, while “Mad” tells a heartbreaking tale of betrayal and loss. Popular Asian radio stations such as 987FM in Singapore, Hitz in Malaysia, Tofu Pop Radio in Thailand, and Prambors in Indonesia have widely played both singles, accumulating over 3.4 million streams since their premiere.
Conversely, eaJ is preparing for a monumental year in the live arena in 2024. When legendary band Imagine Dragons plays in August, eaJ will be on hand to start the show. After that, in September, eaJ will visit Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, and Manila as part of his highly anticipated Asia tour.
By 2024, eaJ will have firmly committed to sharing more classic music and making unforgettable memories with his devoted fan base, capitalizing on the strong support of his admirers.
