Rom-com fans will be in for a treat with the upcoming Korean drama, Wedding Impossible!

Gracing Korea’s TV screens on February 26, the new show Wedding Impossible features the rising star Jeon Jong Seo alongside Kim Do Wan of Start-Up and My Roommate Is a Gumiho fame.

The plot of Wedding Impossible will tell the story of Jong-seo’s character, an actress named Na A-jeong, who takes on the role of a lifetime as a bride in a pretend marriage! Opposite her will be the groom in the endeavor, Do-wan’s Lee Do-han. He is a close friend of A-jeong’s and suggests the sham marriage himself to protect his image.

She excitedly jumps at the chance to play a character she’s never tackled before. It surely will be a rockier road than usual for this odd couple as they struggle to make everything look as genuine as possible.

For Do-han, success will come from fooling his family. Meanwhile, A-jeong is out to make sure she performs worthy of Korea’s Grand Bell Award!

Jeon Jong Seo’s journey to stardom has been nothing short of inspirational. With very little experience, she managed to nail her first audition and land the role in the 2018 thriller, Burning. This gave her the chance to star alongside notable names such as Steven Yeun and Yoo Ah-in. Subsequently, her next output was in the horror film The Call, where she starred alongside acclaimed actress Park Shin-Hye.

After these two monumental roles, her star has shined brighter than ever, and she hasn’t looked back since.

Wedding Impossible, based on a webtoon of the same name, will be Jong-seo’s first foray into the world of television. Given the craziness of the premise, it will be a blast to see how both protagonists will try and put on a deception like no other!
