Hyoyeon, Yugyeom, And Taemin Stun Filipino Fans at "K-Magic Live!" in Manila

It was a legendary joint concert that united Filipino SONE, Ahgase, and Shawol as they spent the best Friday night with HYOYEON, YUGYEOM, and TAEMIN!

HYOYEON, YUGYEOM, and TAEMIN graced the stage of the Mall of Asia Arena on October 13, 2023, at the first-ever K–Magic Live!

Made possible by OctoArts Entertainment, these three prominent solo artists delivered electrifying performances that immensely touched the hearts of their Filipino fans.

HYOYEON

First to dominate the scene was the legendary main dancer and main rapper of Girls’ Generation, Kim Hyoyeon. She captivated the audience with a live rendition of her hit songs “Picture” and “Deep” in the opening set. This marked her fourth visit to the country and her second time performing as a solo artist.

In the middle of her interview, she warmly reminisced about her two-week stay in Boracay. Hyoyeon also made a delightful promise to her PH SONEs, expressing her intention to make more time during her next visit, even jokingly suggesting she might visit their houses.

The audience showered her with love by singing a heartfelt birthday song in celebration of her recent birthday on September 22, making for a meaningful conclusion to her ment. She wrapped up her set with a strong performance of “Second,” “Dessert,” and “Sober,” leaving the audience in awe of her remarkable talents and undeniable charisma.

YUGYEOM

The middle act featured none other than the dynamic dancer from GOT7, who is currently making waves as a soloist under AOMG, Kim Yugyeom.

YUGYEOM dazzled the audience with a memorable setlist, including songs such as “I Want You Around,” “Take You Down,” “It’s All About You,” “Say Nothing,” “All Your Fault,” “Lolo,” “Love The Way,” “Ponytail,” GOT7’s hit song “Hard Carry,” and AOMG’s “119” Remix, and “Who You?”.

His energy was through the roof as he clearly had an amazing night, and his burning performance, along with his dancers, turned the atmosphere into a lively music festival, complete with water splashes and close interactions with fans. He definitely bias-wrecked everyone, if he wasn’t already one.

TAEMIN

SHINee’s ace and the acclaimed solo artist, Lee Taemin, took the stage as the final performer.

His intricate and passionate performances of “Move,” “Criminal,” “Idea,” “Hypnosis,” and “Advice” left the audience in awe, energized, and emotionally moved in the best possible way. With his majestic vocals and fluid dance moves, Taemin undoubtedly delivered a remarkable show.

On a sentimental note, he reminisced about his previous visit to the Philippines with his bandmates and expressed his desire to return. He also teased Filipino Shawols by revealing that his newest album is nearly ready for release, sparking excitement among his dedicated fans.
