#TheScriptFamily, it’s time to paint the town green! The Script is returning to the Philippines in February 2025 for their Satellites World Tour.
All-time favorite Irish band The Script delights their fans at the announcement of the Asia and Australia stops of their Satellites World Tour. The band is reuniting with Filipino fans on February 11, 2025 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

The Script will embark on their Satellites world tour on August 2024. Since the earlier reveal of their Europe, US, and Canada shows, numerous stops have been sold out. The Asia and Australia dates announcement is a gift to the fans who have been waiting!
Beloved for their distinct rock sound, The Script is known for the late 2000s hit singles “The Man Who Can’t Be Moved” and “Breakeven.” Their fanbase further expanded in the early 2010s with several hit tracks: “For The First Time,” “Hall of Fame,” “Six Degrees of Separation,” “If You Could See Me Now”, and “Man on a Wire.”
The Satellites tour will reunite The Script with the Filipino crowd after more than two years. The band last performed in the Philippines on September 23, 2022 for The Script Greatest Hits tour.

Four this 2024
Satellites in Manila will be The Script’s first performance in the country after becoming a quartet. Ben Sargeant, a long-time supporting tour member for The Script since 2007, is now officially the band’s bassist. On the other hand, Ben Weaver is a welcome new addition as the band’s lead guitarist.
The news about the band lineup change was shared by Danny O’Donoghue and Glen Power in May 2024. They wrote, “The Script, as a three-piece, will never be the same, so transitioning to a four-piece feels like the right way to go. It is a sign of respect to leave the past as it was and not attempt to replicate it, as we simply never will.”
The announcement was made a little over a year following their co-founder Mark Sheehan’s passing in April 2023.

Since starting on a new journey, The Script has released two new songs: “Both Ways” on May 8 and “At Your Feet” last July 19. Both tracks are part of the band’s seventh studio album, Satellites.
