Attention, Filo-Lambily! Mariah Carey is coming back to Manila for her tour, The Celebration of Mimi.

The best-selling female artist of all time, Mariah Carey, is coming back to Manila on October 14 for her tour, The Celebration of Mimi, presented by Wilbros Live. The tour will be held at the SM Mall of Asia.

Mariah Carey’s Journey and Success

Mariah Carey was known for being an author, a philanthropist, an entrepreneur, a producer, and a multiple award-winning songwriter and artist. Carey sold well over 200 million albums to date. Aside from that, she also had 19 Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles, where she wrote 18 of them. She absolutely made her history in the industry.

In addition, Mariah has been the template of the modern pop performance due to her outstanding songwriting, five-octave vocal range, and incredible talent. She received multiple recognitions in Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, and three Guinness World Record titles.

Moreover, she also topped the billboard with her titles, “Artist of the Decade” and “Icon” awards. Her success extends to the World Music Award for being the “World’s Best Selling Female Artist of the Millennium.” She also won the “PRS for Music Special International Award” at the Ivor Novello Awards.

The Palm Springs International Film Festival honored Mariah Carey with the Breakthrough Performance Award in 2009. It was dedicated to her role in Lee Daniel’s Precious.
