LaLaLa Fest Manila is happening this week, bringing an international and homegrown lineup to the World Trade Center Manila on August 21 for a full day of live music.
Making its Philippine debut, the festival brings together acclaimed artists from around the globe, including GRAMMY Award-winning singer-songwriter Steve Lacy, British indie-rock band Two Door Cinema Club, British R&B trio FLO, Irish singer-songwriter Dermot Kennedy, Australian singer-songwriter Matthew Ifield, Indonesian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Isyana Sarasvati, Thai indie-pop artist KIKI, and South Korean indie act HOA.
The festival also puts the spotlight on homegrown talent, with OPM acts Ben&Ben, Maki, Over October, Dilaw, and fitterkarma joining the lineup. Their distinct sounds add to the range of genres represented at the festival, alongside its international performers.
One of the festival’s highlights is FLO, whose Manila performance will also open the Asian leg of their Therapy At The Club tour. Meanwhile, Steve Lacy and Two Door Cinema Club are set to bring their signature R&B, alternative, and indie sounds to the Manila stage.
