Get ready for a treat, MIDZY! ITZY’s next concert is an event you were “Born To Be” a part of!

Itzy is gearing up for an epic world tour in 2024, and they’ve included Manila on one of their tour dates. The big news was announced on Itzy’s official Twitter account on January 25. The group will be performing at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on August 3. Though it may be six months away, the wait will surely be worth it!

Born To Be will be Itzy’s second world tour. As their event calendar reveals, there will be numerous stops planned in the US and Australia. For countries in Asia, there will be performances in Japan, Singapore, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. Itzy’s half-year-long journey begins on February 24 and 25 in Seoul. From there, the six-month trek begins. The Manila concert date is planned to be the second-to-last performance overall.

Is something special in store?

The upcoming tour will serve as both a promotion and a celebration of their second studio album of the same name. For Born To Be, the most intriguing thing about the album’s track list is that every member—Ryujin, Yeji, Chaeryeong, Lia, and Yuna—gets their own solo song. It’s not often that you see such a development for group albums.

Furthermore, it’s a welcome opportunity to let each member shine. It would be interesting to see if the world tour’s setlist will feature time dedicated to these tracks!

Right now is an exciting time to be a fan of Itzy, and even more so for Pinoys anticipating their return. Itzy performed in Manila during their first world tour and has made appearances in fan meetings organized by local clothing brand Bench.

Surely, they’ll be given a warm welcome back by our Midzys, and in turn, the group will give us an exciting performance to remember!
