The stars have finally aligned and heard the wishes of PH Jsukungfu Academy as Dew Jirawat charmed everyone with his wit and unmatched visuals during his 1st solo fan meet.
Presented by Makeit Live, Dew Jirawat Sutivanichsak, most popularly known as Dew, has finally made his much-anticipated fan meet in Manila at the Samsung Hall SM Aura Premier on Saturday, October 14.
Early queues of fans started to gather to participate in fan zone activities. Booths were also set up to exchange and give away freebies, including personalized banners, photocards, and stickers. An exciting addition to welcome them at the venue is a standee of Dew.
A Sneak Peak of Dew
A press conference was held before the fan meet, and MKL ticket holders (VIP Tickets) were also invited to get a glimpse of Dew before the show. The lucky fans were seated with the media as Dew answered a series of catch-up questions about his life and career.
In a short chit-chat through his life and career, he was asked. The catch-up portion highlights his acting inspirations, to which he named his F4 co-stars Bright, Win, and Nani.
“Actually, I have a lot of people who are good role models in my life, so I learn a lot from them,” Dew says.
The 23-year-old actor debuted as the second lead, Hua Zi Lei (Ren), in Thailand’s adaptation of the world-renowned love and drama story F4: BOYS OVER FLOWERS.
Dew still feels like a dream to be given such a career debut to star in F4 that he even recalled how stunned he was when he got a call to play the role. Since he has become a big name in the acting world, he has been offered to work in various genres, but he wanted to star as the villain.
“I want to try to be like a bad guy, like in an action movie,” he says.
It’s Dew in his Element
Dew, kicking off the fan meet, serenaded the crowd with his single “In the Wind.”
Following the first song, the show was filled with loud cheers and energy from the audience as Dew sang hit after hit of “Melt,” “First Love,” “Ecstasy,” and “North Star.”
The Thai superstar also joined a fun game of sharing his different sides and interests as an actor, illustrator, and singer. He even shared some of his favorite songs, “About You” by The 1975.
Dew on Everything PINOY
Dew also played the classic Filipino guessing game PINOY HENYO and took the Filo experience to the next level with food tasting.
Words like coffee, Dew, Gundam, home, Manila, north, Pad Thai, school, and star were the parts of the game.
Love at first bite, as Dew had the chance to try three Filipino snacks at best. He was presented sweets, halo-halo and turon, while chicharon for the savory part. Sure enough, he found his favorite—the turon. One way to tell Dew has a sweet tooth is when he asked where he could buy the dessert.
It is a fan interaction like no other, with the PH Jsukungfu Family sharing a heartwarming fan project, hi-touch, and photo-op with the very handsome Dew in a Barong Tagalog to finish the show.
“You become our light in this world full of darkness. P’Dew is our North Star,” – PH Jsukungfu
A lively, advanced Happy Birthday song was also shared in the hall for Dew.
Dew is also featured in VOGUE Man, a fashion icon plus a beauty and wellness ambassador for Dior and Sephora.
