BOYNEXTDOOR will perform as the opening act for the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship on September 12 at the Mall of Asia Arena.
BOYNEXTDOOR will spice up the 32-nation FIVB event, which will include the host Alas Pilipinas men’s team, with a spectacular performance. In addition, the group members—Sungho, Riwoo, Jaehyun, Taesan, Leehan, and Woonhak—have been selected as global celebrity ambassadors for the Manila World Championship.

Suzara, the FIVB Executive Vice President, said, “We have carefully reviewed and decided on the selection of BOYNEXTDOOR. As a truly pivotal move in elevating the global profile of volleyball and igniting excitement for the event.”
“With the championship proudly hosted in the Philippines, this partnership presents an incredible opportunity to engage fans across the world. With BOYNEXTDOOR’s unique appeal and dynamic global influence to attract a wider and more diverse audience profile,” he added.
According to him, by bringing sports and entertainment together and making them work as one, the organization hope to increase interest in volleyball, encourage cultural interchange, and strengthen the local economy through tourism and international participation.
Meanwhile, the Smart Araneta Coliseum will host the remaining Men’s World Championship preliminary matches from September 12 to 18. Also, from September 20 to 28, the knockout stage will be held at MOA Arena, where Volleyball World will continue to offer comprehensive reports, statistics, and analysis.
Furthermore, BOYNEXTDOOR is now ready to take the stage with their talents and skills, providing the Filipino audience with an unforgettable show. Furthermore, they will be returning to the Philippines for the second time after performing Knock On Vol. 1 in Manila in March 2025. BOYNEXTDOOR will become the first K-pop artists to serve as FIVB Men’s Volleyball World Championships Global Ambassadors, creating a historic moment.
