Zomvivor episode 4 was packed with emotional scenes that put viewers on edge. The truth behind Prof. Wiroj’s research is starting to unfold.
Zomvivor episode 4 aired on October 31, 2025, via Netflix, along with the other episodes of the series. Episode 4 was not for the weak as it brought emotionally intense scenes. Zombie outbreaks are always filled with deaths, but seeing some (potentially good) characters get bitten and die still pierced through us. However, apart from the zombie threat, the truth about Professor Wiroj’s research is starting to unfold—and Ning begins to make sense of it.

What’s More Dangerous Than Zombies in Zomvivor Episode 4
The previous episode showed that the others decided to isolate and lock Pao to avoid more harm. But Mook sneaks in to let him out. In Zomvivor episode 4, Mook ends up getting tied instead, while Pao walks away. Thi and Earth hear the sound Mook is making. When they see her, Earth immediately runs toward Mook.
Prao, Ning, Jean, and Phu hear noises too. When they walk toward them, they see Gus with an axe in his head—already turned into a zombie. Jean and Phu try to look for Pao, while Earth sees zombie Gus and tries to get near him, but Thi stops him. Earth then runs toward Pao to kill him in revenge for what he did to Gus.

Aek’s group hears gunshots and immediately takes off to check on it. They find Earth trying to shoot at Pao, with zombies coming at them. While trying to escape, Korn gets bitten by a zombie, and once again, Earth witnesses it. Ning and Jean try to help Pao, but Jean returns to help Aek.
Jean and Aek see some zombies attacking and biting each other, which confuses them—but they use that moment to escape. When Pao, Ning, Aek, and Jean find refuge in the lab, Aek begins pointing his gun at Ning and Jean. Aek asks Jean if he can use a gun and gives him his bullets. Aek says they already warned them that Pao would get them killed, but they didn’t listen.
Jean tries to silence Pao from shouting and being hysterical when Aek suddenly pulls the trigger and shoots Pao in the head. Both Jean and Ning are shocked—and seconds later, Aek shoots himself.

Prof. Wiroj’s First Test Subject
After that emotional scene, the story shifts to a flashback where Prof. Wiroj is seen paying Auntie Jit for being one of his patients. Initially, the professor tells her that the serum to be injected into her is an anti-aging serum. He tells her that if she feels symptoms, she can’t go to other doctors—only to him.
Other patients are there along with Auntie Jit. Jean once saw these people when he came back to school to get something. After a few days, Auntie Jit starts to feel exhausted compared to before. The other patients are also shown experiencing similar symptoms. When Auntie Jit tries to wipe her sweat, she finds a jelly-like substance on her hands.

Jean Asks Ning About the Research with Prof. Wiroj
After the devastating death of Pao, Jean starts to ask Ning what the research she was working on with Prof. Wiroj was all about. Jean begins to question their project as well as her mother’s sickness, which remains a secret until now. Jean says he saw Prof. Wiroj bring people into the lab—Toom, Sak, Auntie Jit, and more.
Ning asks him when he saw them, and he says it was months ago. Ning starts to look for something, then another flashback appears. It shows Ning trying to enter the lab but losing access to it. She attends the professor’s class only to be asked to leave. After class, she asks why she can no longer enter the lab, but Wiroj just says she’s no longer part of the project.

Ning begins reviewing the study Wiroj discussed in his class—it was about jellyfish. A friend of Ning analyzes the paper and says it has something to do with Myxozoa, a type of parasite. While working on the paper, Non arrives tipsy and argues with Ning, calling her their mom’s favorite kid.
In the present timeline, Ning and Jean go to a room where they see jellyfish—infected ones. Before Zomvivor episode 4 wraps up, it shows the cheerleading team struggling because of Lily, who keeps making noise and attracting zombies. Night and Phat use the mushrooms they picked to silence Lily—the mushrooms cause hallucinations.

Zomvivor Episode 4 Review
Zomvivor episode 4 was too painful to watch, especially since I’ve grown to like the P.E. gang in that short span of time. They may have been short-lived, but they made an impact on the series.
Now, it’s clear that Prof. Wiroj’s project might have caused the zombie outbreak. It’s also starting to make sense why Auntie Jit became the pack leader—she was the first test patient.
There are still three remaining episodes on the table. What could possibly happen next—and who among them will face their death?
