New Group on Screen in Zomvivor Episode 3
Zomvivor episode 3 begins with Ning, Prao, and Mook calling the attention of the helicopter on the rooftop. But as soon as Ning notice that Non was missing, she tries to find him—only to attract zombies because of her loud voice. Pao, on the other hand, gets hysterical over Fah’s demise and his zombie bite.
But Phu notice that it’s actually just a scrape, so there’s nothing to worry about. After settling Pao’s wound, they followed the girls to the rooftop. However, because of Ning calling Non’s name repeatedly, the zombies followed them up there. The group had to leave, or else they might be next.
While running away, Pao saw Fah in her zombie version. He apologized for not being able to help her. Then, in split seconds, Fah fell down with an axe in her head. The P.E. gang—Aek, Korn, Gus, and Earth—came to help. They instructed Ning’s group to follow them and run as fast as they could.

Flashback from Four Months Ago
Another set of flashbacks was shown in Zomvivor episode 3. This time, it was set four months ago, where Ning was seen working on the project that Prof. Wiroj let her handle. From the looks of it, Ning was comparing some specimens and seemingly found something interesting. Ning left the specimens in an electric machine. However, the lights went out, causing the specimens to go to waste.

Ning was frustrated with what happened, as the stakes here were her mother’s life. Ning was losing hope in doing this project, knowing the complications and challenges that kept pushing them to the ground. However, Prof. Wiroj encouraged her to do her best and just focus on what they were doing.
After Ning left Prof. Wiroj’s office, Phao entered. Phao told Wiroj that if there’s no evident progress with the cure they’re working on, the Patron would no longer acknowledge the project. But Wiroj said he didn’t believe that he would let his son die. Phao asked him to remove Ning from the project as well, giving him only three allotted days to finish it.

The P.E. Gang Reveals New Information About the Zombies
The group of Aek told the others about what they found out the other night. They saw the zombies swarming, and it seemed like they had a pack leader. Though the others didn’t initially believe it, Aek told them that this was the information they had at hand.

The group had another conflict, with San and Aek having a heated conversation. Then here’s Prao blaming Ning for the zombies running toward the rooftop—that’s why the military fired at them. The others stopped them from bickering and just talked about how they could survive. Non showed the video they filmed to Aek and the others.
They saw how the zombies were walking all together, as if they were walking toward something. Then Phu mentioned that he thought temperature had something to do with the zombies as well. But all these were mere speculations. Aek suggested having some of them observe the zombies again.

Pao’s Outrage and Mook Helping Him in Zomvivor Episode 3
Amidst the conversation of the group, they heard a scream. Jean and Phu immediately ran toward it and found Pao trying to kill Earth, with Gus having a wound from an axe. Pao was repeatedly saying that he would kill him because he was the one who threw the axe at Fah’s head.
The group decided to isolate Pao and tie his hands to avoid more incidents. Mook tried to convince Aek that it wasn’t necessary to do that to Pao, but Aek insisted on doing it to keep them safe. Then the group decided to follow Aek’s plan, which was to observe the zombies again. Together with San, Korn, Non, and Thorn, they went to the second floor and filmed the zombies.

They saw the pack leader that Aek was talking about—Auntie Jit. They wondered why the zombies seemed to listen and follow her. There was also a moment where they saw Auntie Jit giving the dead zombies as food, and one of the zombies screamed when Nan—a zombie—got bitten by Auntie Jit.
Meanwhile, Mook sneaks off to get the key from Jean to help Pao. But Mook ends up hearing nonsense from Pao, like him saying that the zombies were not a threat and that they were the ones killing them. He insisted on joining the zombies instead.

Zomvivor episode 3 concludes with the cheerleading team arguing about Sun keeping Lily with them. Game and Toto try to convince her that Lily is already gone and a zombie now, but Sun still insists on keeping her—hoping she’ll turn human again.

Zomvivor Episode 3 Review
Zomvivor episode 3 was both rage-inducing and frustrating. As much as I get Pao’s illness—suffering from mental health issues—he was really a threat to the group. Aek’s decision was reasonable. That’s why I can’t understand Mook’s idea of letting Pao out.
I can see how great of a leader Aek was—rationally and physically. He transcends this energy that makes you believe you could survive the zombie outbreak. I’d also like to commend Toto and Game in this episode. Though brief, the way they rationalized with Sun was one of the most reasonable scenes as well. Because for one, I wouldn’t keep a zombie near me—even if that zombie was my friend.
The question still remains: what was Prof. Wiroj hiding behind the research he asked Ning to work on? What happened to Kanjana and the project she was working on?
