Would You Marry Me? Episode 4 Revealed the True Feelings of Kim Woo-Ju

Meri and Woo-Ju might never escape their current situation, as the rules for claiming Meri’s raffle prize just got stricter. The house and lot she won wasn’t a simple get-and-go prize. This is because she needed to prove they were truly newlyweds. While Woo-Ju was hesitant at first, the air has changed. He’s now cooperating more, eager to help Meri keep the house she worked so hard for.

Episode 4 kicked off with the long-awaited kiss that left fans hanging in Episode 3. To avoid getting caught by a colleague, Meri and Woo-Ju had no choice but to share a kiss—one that looked straight out of a fast-paced romance drama. Though neither harbored romantic feelings yet, the moment undeniably softened the walls between them. It was awkward, thrilling, and undeniably charming.

To strengthen their “newlywed” act, the pair went all in by taking wedding photos and decorating the house with couple-themed items. Baek Sung-Wu (Bae Na-Ra) was supposed to visit with his boss, but an unexpected incident ruined all their hard work. Still, the night wasn’t a total loss, as Woo-Ju ended up staying late at Meri’s home. Their growing comfort was clear, and fans couldn’t help but swoon.

The drama’s pacing remains sharp, keeping both chemistry and tension alive. While romance is the heart of Would You Marry Me?, the story teases a darker twist. Woo-Ju’s uncle, who covered up a company scandal by causing a fatal car crash, looms as the potential antagonist. Though the full details remain unclear, it’s obvious his presence will shake things up for Meri and Woo-Ju, as well as his relationship with his family.

Episode 4 wrapped with hints of deeper romance ahead. Choi Woo-Sik shines in this unfamiliar role, proving he can hold his own among top rom-com leads. His portrayal of Woo-Ju grows more heartfelt as he realizes that Meri is his long-lost childhood crush. But with Meri’s ex-husband returning after his failed relationship, Woo-Ju might soon find himself in a love triangle where he competes with a guy with the same name as him, which tests both his heart and his pride.

Would You Marry Me? Episode 5: What To Expect

Fans can expect a confession as early as Episode 5. This series clearly isn’t interested in slow revelations or drawn-out romance, as the preview already showed Kim Woo-Ju admitting his feelings for Meri. However, an early confession doesn’t mean an easy path ahead. With childhood memories, family betrayal, an ex-husband, and the chaos of a fake marriage, Woo-Ju’s heartfelt words may not lead to a happy ending—at least not yet.
