Mi-sook Faces the Consequences in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 9

In Undercover Miss Hong episode 9, the financial crisis pushes Hanmin closer to collapse, and Mi-sook suffers the most. Because she dealt directly with customers, the company forced her to sell risky investments before everything fell apart.

However, when those same customers lost their money and sued her, her boss refused to help, leaving her alone to face the blame. As a result, Mi-sook lost hope and attempted to take her own life.

Two Letters from Mi-sook

Before her attempt, Mi-sook wrote two letters—one to Kang Pil-beom and another to Jang-mi. Through these letters, it became clear that Mi-sook had always known Jang-mi’s real identity as Keum-bo.

Years ago, Keum-bo saved Mi-sook from harassment, and because of that, Mi-sook never forgot her and trusted her deeply. In the end, Mi-sook left her daughter Bom in Keum-bo’s care, and although Keum-bo tried to stay strong, she could not stop herself from feeling responsible for Mi-sook’s tragic fate.

Bok-hee Exposes Everyone’s Secrets

As the crisis worsens in Undercover Miss Hong episode 9, the three women grow more frustrated and emotional. Because Bok-hee carries everyone’s secrets, she suddenly blurts them out during an argument.

First, she tells Nora that Jang-mi is actually 35 years old, and then she reveals to Jang-mi that Nora is the chairman’s daughter. On top of that, she exposes Nora and Jung-woo’s relationship and makes it clear that she knows Jang-mi’s real identity as Keum-bo.

Bok-hee also blames Nora for Mi-sook’s suffering, since Nora’s father played a major role in the company’s actions. Meanwhile, Mi-sook’s letters appear in a blind newspaper article, which adds more tension to the situation.

Soon after, Nora’s mother arrives to take her home because Pil-beom has finally accepted her back into the family. At the same time, the family announces Nora’s arranged engagement to Jung-woo, shocking both of them since they never agreed to it. However, Albert seems pleased with the news, which makes the situation even more complicated for everyone involved.

Keum-bo Takes a Risk in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 9

The biggest twist in Undercover Miss Hong episode 9 happens when Keum-bo finally finds the secret ledger and gives it to her boss at the FSS. However, instead of acting on it, her boss refuses to investigate because the IMF crisis has already overwhelmed the agency.

He explains that the higher-ups do not want to deal with another case while the country faces financial chaos. Meanwhile, Hanmin continues to lay off employees, which makes Keum-bo realize that no one in power plans to stop the corruption. Because of this, she decides that the only way to fight back is to steal from Hanmin and expose the truth herself.

At first, Keum-bo tries to resign from her position, hoping to separate herself from the agency’s inaction. However, Albert refuses to accept her resignation because he does not want to lose her.

Then, the situation becomes even more complicated when Bang Jin-mok reveals a shocking truth. He tells Albert and Yong-gi that Keum-bo is actually their “noona,” exposing her hidden identity.
