Jung-woo Challenges Keum-bo in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 4

Undercover Miss Hong episode 4 opens with Keum-bo, disguised as Jang-mi, standing in front of President Jung-woo, the executives, and Hanmin’s directors during her disciplinary hearing. Deok-gyu tries to pin the blame on her. But Jung-woo interrupts and asks Gyeong-dong about the missing investor funds.

Gyeong-dong reveals that 3 billion won remains untraceable. Jung-woo challenges Keum-bo to redeem herself by locating the funds, despite Gyeong-dong insisting that even the national trade market would struggle to recover such an amount, making it nearly impossible for an intern to succeed.

Outside the meeting room, Albert, Jin-mok, and Yong-gi anxiously wait to check on Keum-bo. Jung-il attempts to mock her, but Albert steps in to defend her. Jung-woo calls Albert into the room and warns him that if Keum-bo fails to retrieve the missing funds, she will be fired.

Later, Jung-woo speaks with Bok-hee to learn more about Keum-bo (Jang-mi) and is left confused by the random details he discovers. Meanwhile, Keum-bo strategizes how to locate the funds while continuing her investigation into Yehppee’s identity.

Later in Undercover Miss Hong episode 4, Jae-beom meets with Keum-bo and informs her that Gyeong-dong was involved in multiple trade manipulations alongside OneMillion. Keum-bo concludes that Gyeong-dong cannot be Yehppee and begins to wonder who Myeong-hwi’s real collaborator might be.

That evening, Keum-bo joins the Risk Management team to brainstorm strategies for locating the missing funds. Over drinks later, Jin-mok warns Albert to stay out of Keum-bo’s affairs, but Albert insists he doesn’t mind, leaving Jin-mok surprised.

Meanwhile, Jung-woo approaches Keum-bo’s desk and notices the sand timer he had gifted her years ago. Seeing his initials on it, he realizes that Keum-bo is pretending to be Jang-mi, sparking his suspicion.

That night, Keum-bo searches for clues about the person working with Gyeong-dong and the stock trader. Her mother calls her to the family chicken shop, where Jung-woo has already appeared. Keum-bo’s parents, Soon-jeong and Chun-seob, try to set Jung-woo up with her.

When Keum-bo arrives, Jung-woo begins to leave, but she pushes him back inside, claiming her “sister” dumped him years ago and continuing to maintain her Jang-mi persona. She even mentions keeping her sister’s old belongings, including the sand timer, to reinforce her story.

Her parents notice her interaction with Jung-woo and speculate about their relationship. Later, Keum-bo reassures her parents that she has nothing to do with Jung-woo and returns safely to her dorm room that night.

In response, In-ja rewards No-ra with some of her favorite luxury chocolates, praising her dedication and offering to help with anything she needs. Grateful, No-ra asks her mother to intervene and help prevent Keum-bo from being fired.

That evening, Bok-hee, No-ra, and Mi-sook gather to discuss the posts circulating on the chat group about Keum-bo (disguised as Jang-mi). Upset by the rumors, Keum-bo uses the group to try to lure the OneMillion CEO out of hiding.

Elsewhere in Undercover Miss Hong episode 4, she receives a response on the chat group and immediately leaves to investigate. Meanwhile, No-ra discovers that someone has eaten a few pieces of her luxury chocolates, which leaves her annoyed.

At the same time, Chairman Kang meets with Ju-ran and Jung-woo, insisting that Keum-bo will never be able to track down the CEO. Jung-woo argues that a company insider may have been involved in the trade manipulation. But Kang refuses to entertain the idea.

In-ja then visits Hanmin to meet Chairman Kang and speaks with Jung-woo about Myeong-hwi. She tells Ju-ran that Keum-bo can never be fired because of her close friendship with No-ra. Curious about Keum-bo, Ju-ran tries to learn more from Bok-hee and asks her to keep an eye on No-ra.

No-ra informs Keum-bo that Gyeong-dong’s phone had been vibrating nonstop all day after the chat group posts went up. Acting on this lead, Keum-bo uses a lockpicker to open Gyeong-dong’s desk and discovers a burner phone hidden inside.

When Gyeong-dong returns, searching for the phone, the girls hide. From their hiding spot, No-ra, Bok-hee, and Keum-bo overhear him speaking with the OneMillion CEO, instructing him to stay hidden and keep his identity secret from Keum-bo.

The next day, Keum-bo tracks the CEO to his hideout, using tips from local food takeout places to pinpoint his location. She discovers that the CEO, Kim Ki-soo, has already fled, but she finds shredded documents in the trash and collects them.

With the help of No-ra and Mi-sook, Keum-bo pieces together the shredded papers, which turn out to be Ki-soo’s flight tickets. No-ra informs Albert that Keum-bo is at the airport and will not be coming to work. Albert rushes there and helps her intercept Ki-soo.

Keum-bo confronts Ki-soo, threatening to have him arrested, and forces him to sign documents confirming that he personally authorized the insider trading. The signature proves that the missing funds were with OneMillion, successfully resolving the case.

Back at the office, the Risk Management team praises Keum-bo (Jang-mi) for her bravery. She entrusts a report to Albert to present to Jung-woo on her behalf. Albert refuses to take credit for her work, but Keum-bo calls him her partner, deeply touching him.

Later in Undercover Miss Hong episode 4, Jung-woo assigns Albert another project for the team. Yong-gi accepts the extra workload without complaint, while Albert and Jin-mok appear annoyed. After distributing paychecks, Keum-bo skips the usual celebration meal with her teammates and heads home instead.

He brings this information to Chairman Kang, who refuses to take action and privately questions whether appointing Jung-woo as President was a mistake.

Later, Jung-woo confronts Gyeong-dong in private, threatening to expose his role in insider trading. Gyeong-dong scolds Ki-soo for signing the incriminating documents. But Ki-soo refuses to participate in any further trade manipulations with Hanmin.

Meanwhile in Undercover Miss Hong episode 4, Keum-bo and her roommates celebrate their small victories with a dinner outing. No-ra films the evening using a camcorder borrowed from Albert, while Bok-hee insists on paying for the meal.
