Jung-woo Saw Keum-bo in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 3
Undercover Miss Hong episode 3 opens with Keum-bo fleeing the office, panicked at the thought of Jung-woo chasing her. As she runs through the streets, Jung-woo drives by, spots her, and confronts her, calling her by name.
Keum-bo quickly maintains her disguise, insisting she is Jang-mi, and sprints away, leaving Jung-woo alone and visibly unsettled. That evening, he reflects at his apartment on the matching sand timers he once gifted Keum-bo during their relationship. Curious about her current life, he calls a colleague to check on what Keum-bo has been up to all these years.
Back at the dorm that night, Keum-bo reunites with her roommates, and the four decide to order takeout. Bok-hee teaches No-ra, Mi-sook, and Keum-bo how to sneak the food inside their room through the window. Although Keum-bo remains suspicious of Bok-hee’s intentions, she appreciates the gesture when Bok-hee gifts her a soft toy keychain as thanks.

Later, while searching the room, Keum-bo finds the slush fund ledger and prepares to open it—but Bok-hee unexpectedly arrives. The two clash, escalating the argument until Warden Kim appears, prompting the girls to hide the food quickly.
Keum-bo inflates the situation, accusing Bok-hee of calling her a thief. Warden Kim intervenes, asking Bok-hee to check her purse for missing items, but nothing is found.
Despite the warden’s attempt to mediate, the tension between Bok-hee and Keum-bo continues, spilling over even during Chuseok holiday lunch. Frustrated, Keum-bo ultimately leaves the room to sleep in the living room, ending the day on a tense note.
Keum-bo Gets Admirers
The next day, Jung-il spots Keum-bo making coffee in the break room and tries to mock her. Unfazed, Keum-bo asserts herself, showing him his place and telling him to act his age.
Meanwhile, Bok-hee and No-ra overhear the secretaries gossiping about Keum-bo and Jung-il’s alleged interest in her. They attempt to warn Keum-bo, but she refuses to intervene.
Taking matters into their own hands, Bok-hee uses Jung-il’s toothbrush to dust his computer. While No-ra secretly replaces his vitamins with laxatives. Keum-bo grows bolder, seizing a receipt Jung-il plans to use for filing his expense reports.
The next day, Jung-il unknowingly takes the tampered vitamins, which act as a laxative. At the same time, Keum-bo works with her Risk Management teammates to develop the new information-sharing system. Yong-gi leads the project and pitches his idea to the group.
While Albert and Jin-mok remain distracted, Keum-bo encourages Yong-gi, confident that he can complete the system in three days. Motivated by her faith in him, Yong-gi develops a crush on Keum-bo and spends the day focused on the software. Albert grows jealous of their bond and even attempts to take credit for Yong-gi’s work, but Keum-bo quickly acknowledges Yong-gi’s effort, ensuring he receives full recognition.

Keum-bo Gets in Trouble in Undercover Miss Hong Episode 3
The next day, Albert reports to Jung-woo about the new software and how Keum-bo (disguised as Jang-mi) and Yong-gi worked tirelessly on it. Jung-woo praises Albert for leading his team effectively. Later, Yong-gi assists employees in setting up their new accounts to access the software, and the interns and secretaries note that it has significantly reduced the need for document copies.
At an executive meeting, Deok-gyu informs Chairman Kang that Albert’s team successfully developed the software, earning company-wide recognition. After the meeting, Albert rewards his team, announcing that they can take the rest of the year off in celebration of their achievement.
Meanwhile, Keum-bo refocuses on her mission to uncover Yehppee’s identity. Speaking privately with Yong-gi, she learns that Gyeong-dong has a dog named Yehppee. She decides to follow him, showing up at the trading department to hand over a file and assist No-ra, who is managing coffee and lunches for the traders.
While helping No-ra, Keum-bo attempts to search Gyeong-dong’s desk and files but discovers a locked drawer. She reports it to Jae-beom, who provides her with a lockpicker. The following day, Keum-bo helps No-ra deliver lunch to the traders.
Later in Undercover Miss Hong episode 3, Keum-bo spots a trader attempting insider trading. She intervenes, stopping a fake sale and alerting the stock exchange. Chairman Kang and Jung-woo meet with Deok-gyu and Gyeong-dong to address the incident.
Ju-ran reveals that Keum-bo (Jang-mi) was responsible for stopping the illegal activity, causing the event to make waves company-wide. The trader is investigated by the Financial Supervisory Service. That night, Jae-beom scolds Keum-bo for drawing so much attention to herself.
But she defends her actions, insisting she could not ignore the illegal activity. He then informs her about the online chat group, The Yeouido Pirates, which has already posted about the incident.
Albert Helps Keum-bo
Jae-beom begins to wonder who posted about the trading incident in the invite-only chat group and whether a Hanmin employee might be an admin. He explains that each member of the group receives only one invitation to bring in someone new.
That night, Keum-bo tries to secure an invite from her roommates. Mi-sook reveals she already gave hers to someone else, Bok-hee invited No-ra, and No-ra invited Mi-sook. Left out and frustrated, Keum-bo turns to her team members for help.
Yong-gi admits he has already used his invite, but Albert generously offers his, helping Keum-bo create an account so she can finally enter the chat group. Once inside, she combs through the posts and begins posting herself, determined to identify the mole.
Elsewhere in Undercover Miss Hong episode 3, Ju-ran instructs Keum-bo (disguised as Jang-mi) not to speak to the media about the trading incident. She also informs Keum-bo about an official investigation scheduled later that day. Jae-beom and Dong-gi arrive at Hanmin Investment & Securities to handle the inquiry.
Dong-gi requests to see Jang-mi, the intern who stopped the illegal trading. Jung-woo calls Bok-hee to summon Keum-bo, but Jae-beom intervenes, trying to prevent her from attending. When his attempts fail, he fakes a heart attack and is rushed to the hospital, buying Keum-bo time.
That night, Keum-bo thanks Jae-beom for the diversion. They discuss the company’s involvement in the trader’s scheme, including bribery of Financial Supervisory Service officials, and how little could be done to hold Hanmin accountable for insider trading.
