Later, Yoon Jae is seen entering a motel, sparking cheating allegations, while Min Hyuk kisses Yu Ri to reclaim her first kiss from Ji Hoon.

My Girlfriend is the Man! Episode 6 Recap: Yu Ri sets boundaries but later pretends they’re a couple
Ji Hoon visits Yu Ri, who sets clear boundaries to protect herself from developing feelings for him while Kim Ji Eun lives as a man, Kim Ji Hoon. They make strict rules to avoid romantic gestures, physical contact, and to keep Yu Ri from falling for him.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Hoon’s handsome appearance at the club makes him popular. Things get worse when Min Ah shares his number with others. To handle the situation, Yu Ri pretends they’re a couple and even agrees to join a fan meet-and-greet and book signing, sacrificing her anonymous life as a well-known writer.
They staged sweet photos to post on her social media accounts, with Yoon Jae accompanying them and taking pictures as they posed.
At the same time, Jeong Ja—Young Seok’s situationship and Yoon Jae’s boss—shows up at Young Seok’s father’s hospital, posing as his girlfriend after learning about the father’s pressure for marriage.

Yu Ri’s Fan Meet-and-Greet and Book Signing Event
Min Hyuk and Yoon Ah happen to be fans of Yu Ri, so they attend her fan sign and meet-and-greet. However, Yoon Jae quickly sends Yoon Ah back to school. Shortly after, Min Ah arrives and loudly announces to everyone that Ji Hoon is Yu Ri’s boyfriend, even encouraging them to kiss in front of everyone—especially Yoon Jae and Min Hyuk—and they actually do, putting an end to Ji Hoon’s popularity craze.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji Hye and Hong Young Seok cross paths again, as Ji Hye intentionally visits Young Seok’s place to get his phone number.

Yoon Jae came to a motel?
After the book signing, Yu Ri drinks again, regretting her first kiss. But when Min Hyuk joins her, he kisses her on the lips to ease her regret—turning it into her “second first kiss” on their way home.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jae worries because his father was kicked out of their home after losing money in stocks and is staying at a motel.
While Min Hyuk and Yu Ri share their kiss, they spot Yoon Jae entering the motel and suspect him of cheating with Min Joo, so they call Ji Hoon.
When Yoon Jae comes out, they confront him but don’t believe his explanation that he’s with his father—until he brings them inside to prove it.

Min Joo moves into the same apartment building as Ji Hoon
As they walk home, Ji Hoon admits he saw Min Joo and Yoon Jae together at a café that night, but Yoon Jae assures him it was nothing and that Min Joo is just a university junior. Yoon Jae also confesses feeling uneasy about seeing Yu Ri and Ji Hoon kiss, and Ji Hoon immediately apologizes.
Meanwhile, Yoon Jae’s parents reconcile in a sweet and playful way. The next morning, Yoon Jae visits Ji Hoon’s house, mimicking his dad’s cute gestures with balloons and a ribbon headband.

Episode 6 ends with Kang Min Joo moving into the same building as Ji Hoon, arriving with a moving truck and interrupting their moment.
My Girlfriend Is the Man! Episode 7 Preview and Release Details
In My Girlfriend is the Man! episode 7, airing on August 13, teases Min Joo moving into her new apartment with help from Yoon Jae and Ji Hoon, while her flirting with Yoon Jae intensifies Ji Hoon’s jealousy. The three are also seen wearing hanbok, with Min Joo waiting for a kiss from Yoon Jae—and Ji Hoon seeing it all.
