Not long after, Ji Hoon stays behind at the café when a guy in a hoodie walks in with luggage. He hands over his passport and says, “It’s me, Park Yoon Jae. I’m back.” Then he gives Ji Hoon a letter from the professor that reads, “Yoon Jae’s universe is not here, but it is where you are.”

They came to realize that love was never about perfection—it was about choosing each other, again and again, despite the hardships. What mattered most were the memories they created together, Ji Hoon said,
From the first moment I turned into a man, I could only get through this because you were by my side. As long as I was with you, it didn’t matter if I were a woman or a man. I was just happy.
And Yoon Jae said back,
From now on, it doesn’t matter whether you are Kim Ji Hoon or Kim Ji Eun. I just want you.
