In Your Radiant Season Episode 7 Recap: Awkward Moments Between Chan and Ha-ran
In Your Radiant Season episode 7 opens with a heartfelt airport reunion, where Chan hugs Ha-ran and later holds her hand on the cab ride home. Ha-ran arrives smiling, and Chan reunites with Mr. Park while settling into his old room, though he worries he might be too greedy with Ha-ran because of his big secret.
Soon, he organizes a reunion at Mr. Park’s café with both his team and Ha-ran’s, delighting everyone who will spend the next two months together. While helping clean up, Chan drops a plastic bottle, triggering a new memory he cannot fully recall, and Ha-ran stays behind to assist him.

Elsewhere, Ha-dam and You-gyum have an awkward encounter. Since they are technically broken up, another boy asks Ha-dam for her number. You-gyum starts to walk away while Ha-dam loudly agrees, though she doesn’t really. Later at the park, Na-na sees Mr. Park walking Genius and notices You-gyum lingering, clearly preoccupied with Ha-dam. She gives him some tough advice, urging him to confront the situation directly.
Tae-suk’s Small Gestures
Back at the café, Ha-ran accidentally walks in on Chan while he’s changing as she tries to return his phone. He points out something on her face, but she misinterprets it, thinking he’s about to kiss her.
Chan teases her, saying he thought he saw the “old Ha-ran,” then quickly clarifies that Ha-young had mentioned she used to be more cheerful and playful. They later review her “homework,” and Chan tells her she has to complete his bucket list with him again.

The next day, Ha-ran and her family visit her parents’ graves. Afterwards, Ha-young realizes she left her phone behind and returns to retrieve it, only to find Tae-suk there. A flashback shows a young Tae-suk giving flowers to Ha-young’s parents and thanking them for welcoming him. While Na-na even invites him to join the family photo.
In the present, Tae-suk keeps apologizing like he did at the funeral, and when Ha-young finds her phone, she suggests going out for a meal. She is surprised when Tae-suk clears stones from their path simply because she’s wearing heels.

You-gyum and Ha-dam’s Miscommunications
At home, Ha-ran asks Ha-young if she ever spoke to Chan about her, but Ha-young can’t remember. While talking, Ha-young notices that Chan’s name is similar to Hyeok-chan’s. Meanwhile, Chan realizes that all the missing pieces of his memory are linked to the sound of Su-jin’s bracelet, and a shot at the airport shows Su-jin arriving.
You-gyum prepares to apologize to Ha-dam but is stunned when he sees her giving the boy who asked her out a drink decorated with a heart. The next morning, Ha-young and Ha-ran see Ha-dam drop their mother’s favorite dessert plate.
Ha-dam admits she feels left out when they talk about their parents because she was too young to remember them. Ha-young comforts her, telling her how much she resembles their mother, and Ha-dam leaves with a smile.
At the café, a package arrives for Chan, with the address in Boston catching Mr. Park’s attention. Chan also receives a message requesting a secret meeting. At the atelier, he and Ben share that Won’s character design received positive feedback, prompting them to design another outfit.
The secret meeting turns out to be with Na-na, who asks about Chan’s family and then opens up about Ha-ran’s struggles. A flashback shows Ha-ran refusing to eat or sleep after the incident with Hyeok-chan, and Na-na forcing her to return to the atelier and resume normal routines. At present, Na-na thanks Chan for helping Ha-ran smile again and urges him to stay by her side. Chan admits that he might not be as good for Ha-ran as she believes.
Ha-ran and Chan’s First Kiss
Chan takes Ha-ran to his grandmother’s pottery exhibition, where she is moved by an artwork made by piecing together shattered fragments. She asks Kim Seon, Chan’s grandmother, about her mother’s broken plate, and Seon offers to try to repair it.
Meanwhile, Tae-suk calls Ha-young for work, but a man answers and says she’s drunk and passed out at a bar. Tae-suk goes to the bar, where Ha-young confesses feeling guilty that Ha-dam doesn’t remember their parents, and he gently escorts her home.

At school, Ha-dam and You-gyum run into each other at the nurse’s office, both worried but saying nothing. After the exhibition, Chan and Ha-ran head home.
But Ha-ran insists on returning to give Seon a gift. They are surprised to see Chan’s father, Seonu Seok, speaking with Seon. A flashback reveals that even after Chan’s accident, his father pushed him to focus on studying.
In the present, Seok tries to speak with Chan, but Chan refuses and pushes him into a glass table, accidentally cutting Ha-ran’s face with a shard. Chan storms off to clear his head, and Ha-ran notices that Seok dropped a watch. She takes it and searches for Chan at Shim, where Mr. Park has just discovered a new brown pen with Ha-ran’s name engraved in Chan’s jacket pocket but hides it from her.

When Chan returns home, Ha-ran shows him the watch, a gift he gave his father years ago with a drawing on the back. Ha-ran says it proves he cares about Chan, but he insists reconciliation is impossible and warns that they shouldn’t keep seeing each other to avoid hurting her.
Ha-ran refuses, telling him he has helped heal her and she wants to do the same for him. Chan admits he will like her even more, and Ha-ran encourages him, leading him to lean down and kiss her.
