In Your Radiant Season Episode 11 Recap: Ha-ran Confronts Chan and Shuts Him Out

In Your Radiant Season episode 11 opens with Ha-ran discovering Chan’s notebook filled with his notes about Hyeok-chan and Su-jin. Back at home, she pieces everything together and realizes that Chan was the one messaging her all along. Chan, who has spent the entire day searching for her, finally finds her at the cafe.

There, Ha-ran confronts him, confessing that she can’t tell him apart from Hyeok-chan. Frustrated and hurt, she accuses him of being fake, throws the pen at him, and refuses to let him explain, blaming him for her unhappiness before storming off.

At home, Ha-ran packs all the gifts Chan had given her into trash bags, including the original engraved pen. Despite falling ill, she insists on going to work. Chan arrives to give her the tablet containing his story, but she refuses and continues to shut him out, even when he tries again at the office. Meanwhile, coworkers notice Tae-suk’s absence and murmur about it.

At the hospital, You-gyum hides the pain in his ankle from Ha-dam, determined not to worry her. A flashback reveals Tae-suk’s past attempt to quit his job after Ha-ran’s parents’ death, which Na-na discouraged, telling him to focus on preparing for college instead. In the present, Tae-suk tries to quit again, burdened by guilt for Na-na’s misfortunes.

Na-na reassures him that he couldn’t have prevented either incident and urges him to let go of the blame. Ha-young, standing outside the hospital room, overhears the entire conversation. Later, she comforts Tae-suk, reminding him it’s not his fault, and offers him the sweet she gave him when they first met, a small gesture of reassurance.

Chan Faces the Truth as Ha-ran Confronts Loss

Ha-young finds Ha-ran upset and tends to her, helping to bring down her fever. Later that night, Ha-young wakes to find Ha-ran has left the house, forgetting her phone. She immediately calls Chan, who rushes out to search for her.

Chan deduces that Ha-ran has gone to the campsite they once visited, where they had talked about how the stars and moon could never be together. While driving there, he experiences sudden pain, which triggers more memories.

Forced to stop the car, he recalls punching Hyeok-chan and causing a waste container to fall—could this accident have started the fire? When he finally finds Ha-ran crying at the campsite, he cannot bring himself to approach her.

Seeking answers, Chan confronts Su-jin, asking if he actually hit Hyeok-chan. She confirms he did. A flashback reveals Hyeok-chan returning from a trip, where Chan later tells him the truth in the lab. Their conversation escalates, and Chan strikes him. Back in the present, Su-jin confirms that the fire started because of the fallen container, leaving Chan burdened with guilt.

Ha-ran returns home to Ha-young, who explains that Chan went out driving to look for her and hasn’t been answering his phone. Despite her own fear, Ha-ran grows worried and sets out to find him.

Meanwhile, at the hospital, Su-jin learns about the full extent of Chan’s condition, including his burns and the shrapnel in his head, which can cause hallucinations and memory distortions. The line between real events and his Boston flashbacks becomes uncertain.

Elsewhere, Ha-ran discovers that Chan has seemingly left for good. She finds a Post-it on her car reading “end of trial.” Time passes, and eventually Ha-ran opens Chan’s tablet, discovering the first page of his story, hinting that his voice and memories continue to reach her.
