The widely recognized actress Jeon Jong-seo plays the drama’s main character, Woo Hee. It tells the story of how she rose from impoverished beginnings to become the first prime minister of the Goryeo kingdom of Korea. Initially, her life seems stable.

However, when her spouse, the Goguryeo monarch, passes away unexpectedly, a catastrophe unfolds. Consequently, she finds herself in a precarious situation. Princes and the five tribes turn their sights on Woo Hee. She employs levirate marriage as a means of defense for her tribe and family.

She strives to elevate one of her late husband’s younger brothers to the throne through marriage. Woo Hee has one day to complete everything.

Featuring veteran actors Ji Chang-wook, Lee Soo-hyuk, Kim Mu-yeol, Jeong Yu-mi, and Park Ji-hwan are among the group of stars in the series. Their persuasive performances bring this compelling story to life.
