A festive night for South Korea’s most prolific stars — the Blue Dragon Series Awards are back for the 4th year in a row!
On July 18, the 4th Blue Dragon Series Awards took place at Paradise City, Incheon. Jun Hyun-moo and Girls’ Generation’s Lim Yoon-a led the celebration by reassuming their roles as the hosts. The red carpet and ceremony were broadcast live on KBS2, TVING, CHZZK, and Prizm for local and international fans.
Furthermore, winners from the previous year, like Park Bo-young (Best Actress) and Go Youn-jung (Best New Actress), graced the stage as presenters. Aside from the much-awaited awards and star-studded attendance, the ceremony also featured special performances from Yim Si-wan, KiiiKiii, JAESSBEE, Hong Isaac, and veteran musician Choi Baek-ho.

About the Blue Dragon Series Awards
With the increasing popularity of streaming platforms, the Blue Dragon Series Awards are the first to honor original content produced by OTT (over-the-top) media services in Korea. Created and organized by Sports Chosun, this yearly event began in 2022. Overall, there are 13 awards that cover variety and drama categories, excluding the popularity awards.

4th Blue Dragon Series Awards: Who Won?
Nominees for this year’s awards were variety shows and dramas released from June 1, 2024 to May 31, 2025. Alongside other record-breaking series, When Life Gives You Tangerines topped the nomination leaderboard with six categories under their belt. The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call and SNL Korea were also on their heels with five nominations each.
For 2025, special awards were given to standout artists such as Ji Ye-un and TXT’s Yeonjun. While Yeon-jun wasn’t physically present, he recorded an acceptance speech to show his gratitude. Another exclusive category was the Upbeat Popularity Awards voted by fans, which included Park Bo-gum, Hyeri, Lee Jun-hyuk, and IU.
Ending the event on a high note, the grand prize was awarded to When Life Gives You Tangerines. This marks their third and final major award of the night, in addition to Best Supporting Actress (Yeom Hye-ran) and Best Actress (IU).
