The highly anticipated sapphic series starring GMMTV’s GL couples MilkLove and JuneMewnich has aired its premiere episode.
Whale Store XOXO, GMMTV’s sapphic series, premiered its first episode on June 25, 2025. The series is led by the charming sapphic couples: Milk Pansa Vosbein as Wan, Love Pattranite Limpatiyakorn as Maewnam, June Wanwimol Jaenasavamethee as Tonnam, and Mewnich Nannaphas Loetnamchoetsakun as Chompu.
Whale Store XOXO tells the story of Wan and Maewnam. After losing her father, Wan became unemployed and ended up inheriting his grocery store. There, she met Maewnam, a hardworking university professor who also runs errands for people in their community.
Maewnam manages her “Maewnam’s Services” business in the morning and teaches in the evening. She has always been supportive of Wan throughout her stay at the grocery store. But when the truth about Maewnam’s family comes to light, it sparks a conflict with Wan.

The Different Lives of Wan and Maewnam
Wan and Maewnam live completely different lives. Wan works in the corporate world, employed by a company, while Maewnam enjoys running errands for her neighbors—buying items, helping with cooking, even fixing appliances. Although Maewnam is a respected university professor, she still chooses to run her side business, Maewnam’s Services.
When Wan arrived at her office, a problem arose during their presentation for a client, causing conflict between her and a co-worker.
While struggling with her work situation, Wan received a call from the hospital about her father. Upon arriving, she was devastated to learn of his passing—and there, she encountered Maewnam.

Wan Takes Over the Grocery Store
After her father’s death, Wan decided to resign from her job, realizing she could no longer remain tied to that kind of life.
She returned to her father’s house and chose to inherit the grocery store he left behind. Wan was filled with regret for not having spent enough time with her father. With her hectic schedule and work-consuming life, she had neglected what truly mattered.
To honor her father’s memory, Wan decided to take over the grocery store he had cherished.
Maewnam’s University Life
Episode 1 of Whalestore XOXO also revealed Maewnam’s life as a professor. Because of her youthful appearance, Maewnam was often mistaken for a student.
She worked alongside Tonnam and Chompu, two colleagues who constantly bickered over petty things. However, Maewnam later discovered that Tonnam and Chompu were secretly dating, and their constant arguing was just a facade to hide their relationship.

Wan’s Breakdown in Front of Maewnam
On her first night back home, Wan ran into Maewnam once again. This time, Wan couldn’t suppress her emotions.
Reminiscing about the times her father had called and she didn’t answer because of work brought her to tears. She admitted that she always thought she could call back, that she could always come home, and that her father would be there waiting.
But time had been cruel—this time, her father would no longer be there to answer. The entire scene between Wan and Maewnam stirred heart-wrenching emotions.
The Burden of Maewnam
In the final part of episode 1, Maewnam’s hidden life was revealed. It turns out she comes from a wealthy family.
Adding to her burden, her family plans to open a Mouse Mart grocery store in the same area where she works, causing her deep worry.
Wan noticed the sadness on Maewnam’s face and tried to lift her spirits. Flashbacks played in Maewnam’s mind, recalling the first time she saw Wan standing in the rain—a memory that made her smile despite her troubles.

Episode 2 Preview
The trailer for episode 2 teases a date between Tonnam and Chompu. Meanwhile, Wan and Maewnam continue to grow closer.
