ThomasKong showed their undeniable chemistry and natural acting skills in Your Sky Series.
Being a rookie didn’t hinder the main lead actors of the recently concluded series Your Sky, Thomas Teetut Chungmanirat and Kong Kongpob Jirojmontri, in showcasing their recognizable chemistry. Although it was their first series together as main lead couples, the two were able to deliver their characters spot-on. With its comforting storyline and new faces in the industry, the series brought a refreshing change to the BL fans.
Thomas played the role of Muenfah, the campus’s popular senior, while Kong played the role of Teerak, a naive freshman. The cast included Por Suppakarn as Lee, TeeTee Wanpichit as Klaijai, Auau Thanaphum as Real, Save Worapong as Hia, Morakot Liu as Babe, Tonnam Piamchon as Dom, Patji Jirachart as Type, In Inthira as Joy, and Mike Chinnarat as Oh. Mandee Channe and IQiyi presented the series.
Your Sky Story Plot
Muenfah and Teerak decided to enter a fake relationship to solve Teerak’s problem with his senior, Oh, who was determined to pursue him. Their fake relationship stirred a feud between Fah and Oh, with the latter doubting their pretense. Nonetheless, their friends have been supportive of their ‘fake’ relationship, especially Teerak’s friends, Type and Joy.
However, Lee, who is both Teerak’s friend and Muenfah’s brother, harbored a suspicion that the two were only acting. Regardless of that, Lee continues to pretend to not notice anything and silently roots for his friend and his brother. At first, Oh didn’t believe in the relationship between Fah and Teerak, but after some time, he eventually stopped bugging Teerak and accepted his defeat in love.
As their fake relationship continues, Muenfah and Teerak start to feel something toward each other, having a hard time distinguishing which is real and fake.

Friends and Family
Apart from the fake relationship plot of the series, it incredibly highlights the importance of friends and family. Starting off with Teerak’s friends—Lee, Type, and Joy. Teerak’s inability to refuse requests or favors often leads his friends to come to his aid. Teerak’s friends consistently strive to safeguard him from exploitation.
Meanwhile, Teerak’s family creates a very heartwarming atmosphere. Her sister, Babe, embodies the definition of an older sister—always ready to help and guide. His parents, on the other hand, remain loving toward Teerak.
Muenfah’s family also portrays a very supportive and welcoming character. They’ve shown their delight and excitement about Muenfah’s relationship with Teerak, never questioning their son’s decision. Fah’s friends, Real and Hia, have also become Fah’s support system throughout the series.
The series narrates the significance of family and friends in one’s life, especially the support that they’re able to convey.
The Value of Acceptance
In the series, there were multiple scenes that showed what acceptance is and how important it is to nurture a strong relationship. This was evident in the confrontation between Teerak and Oh, where Teerak bravely expressed his genuine emotions to Oh. Despite his broken heart, Oh accepted Teerak’s decision to reject him.
Consequently, during episode 11 of the series, where Teerak and Muenfah bravely confessed their relationship to Teerak’s family, the outcome didn’t seem to be as positive as expected. Teerak’s father opposed their relationship, saying that men cannot be together. However, in episode 12, his father finally realizes that what really matters is his son’s happiness, which is Muenfah. This scene was incredibly heartwarming, showcasing how a parent’s love can be boundless.

Love is in the Air
During the series’ final episode, love was beautifully portrayed—with Muenfah and Teerak’s family celebrating New Year together, their group of friends celebrating happily with their respective partners, and the couples having their sweet time. It was indeed a comforting series to begin with.
It showed how teenage love can be a driving force for genuine happiness. The series portrayed how support can foster any relationship. It’s a typical romance of two teenagers who find love in each other’s presence, yet their impact will surely last a long time.
