Yesterday Episode 8 Recap: Nana Seeks Answers About Her Parents’ Accident
Nana confronts Lalin about her plan to take down Loyde Group, and Lalin reveals her deep resentment toward her father, Mr, Likit, who controls her life and values profit above all else. Nana then questions whether Lalin’s father is connected to her parents’ death, leading them to suspect that a recorder Nana’s mother once had might hold the truth.
Meanwhile, their conversation turns personal. Lalin asks if Nana ever hated her, then if she likes her. When Nana does not answer, Lalin assumes they are just colleagues, but Nana immediately proves otherwise by kissing her. In the end, they promise to protect each other.

Vier Asks Kelvin to Go Their Separate Ways
Vier confronts Kelvin while he drinks, weighed down by guilt. Kelvin apologizes again. In response, Vier shares his near-death experience in jail, saying thoughts of his family and past made him realize how painful deception can be.
Kelvin then confesses everything. He admits he planned to use Vier from the start to take over KING Group—manipulating him, spying on him, and earning his trust and sympathy. Things spiral out of control when Lalit uncovers the truth, and Kelvin couldn’t bring himself to tell Vier, fearing he would lose him. He even admits he might have caused Lalit’s death.
Vier faces the truth and accepts everything. He tells Kelvin, “In the end, everything you did was for me,” and asks him to treat him as if he is already dead so everything can be forgiven. He then tells Kelvin they should go their separate ways, as he now wants to seek justice for Lalit and prove his innocence.
“I loved the Kelvin who was naive and honest, but that man never existed to begin with,” Vier adds, as both break down in tears. As Vier walks away, Kelvin lets him go and accepts everything he said.
VPG Group Restructures with Vier as New CEO
The court clears Vier of Lalit’s murder, revealing Sei as the real culprit and exposing Police Lieutenant Colonel Tao’s abuse of power. Mr. Likit tells Ken that everything will go to his son, Lavid, and that Loyde Group won’t be used for Ken’s revenge.
Vier visits Lalit’s grave with Lalin, Lavid, and Nana, thanking him for protection and promising to find the real murderer. He returns to VPG Group as the shareholders officially appoint him as the new CEO. The V&V hotel chain is restructured, some shareholders move to VPG Group, and Kelvin opts out of any dealings with Vier.
Nana becomes Vier’s secretary. Once VPG stabilizes, she takes a break with Lalin in Chiang Mai to recover her mother’s broken recorder, which Lalin later repairs.

Vier and Kelvin as Business Partners Again in Yesterday Episode 8
Kelvin and Vier meet again at the bidding for Vila Group’s Chao Phraya Hotel Project, with Ken representing Loyde Group. Ken challenges Vier’s ideas, but Kelvin steps in and declares that KING Group fully supports VPG Group’s technological plan, ensuring their partnership will drive the hotel’s success.
Vier later thanks Kelvin, who adds that Lalin will help with coordination. Kelvin then says he won’t show his face to Vier again, but Vier replies that there’s no need for that—they’re now business partners.
That night, Kelvin wakes from nightmares about everything he did to Vier and worsens the self-inflicted cuts on his left arm. With shaky, bloody hands, he whispers, “Today, I saw you for the first time in months. You look as good and lively as ever, but I won’t bother you anymore.”
Vier Still Worried About Kelvin
During their meeting for the hotel project, Kelvin accidentally aggravates his arm cuts while reaching for a document, worrying Vier. He asks Lalin to handle future coordination, which only deepens Vier’s concern.
At the next meeting, Kelvin warns that Ken and Loyde Group plan to sabotage the project, but Vier is ready. In the end, VPG Chao Phraya Hotel succeeds, while Loyde Group faces backlash for copying the project, and Mr. Likit scolds Ken. Meanwhile, Lavid congratulates Vier and confesses his feelings, but Vier turns him down.
The episode ends with Nana calling Vier: a wall has collapsed at the construction site, trapping ten workers, and the rescue team says there’s little they can do.
