Yesterday Episode 10 Recap: Ken Kills Mr. Likit and Manipulates Lavid

Lalin receives a call from the police informing her that her father, Mr. Likit, has been found dead in his car with a gunshot wound to the head. As seen at the end of episode 9, Ken and Likit had a heated argument, where Likit insulted Ken—leading Ken to shoot him.

Meanwhile, KING Group shareholders hold a meeting without Kelvin’s knowledge, but he still arrives and faces them. They express concern that Kelvin keeps putting Vier first, from withdrawing from the project to even risking jail, which is causing the company’s stocks to drop. Some even question if he still deserves to remain president.

Kelvin defends himself, explaining that KING Group partnered with VPG Group, so both companies share responsibility for the project’s issues. He reassures them that things will stabilize and profits will recover once everything is resolved.

At the same time, Ken contacts Lavid, who is already frustrated after realizing he has been manipulated. Ken continues to use him, lying and manipulating him. Eventually, Lavid calls Vier and convinces him to meet, unknowingly setting him up as part of Ken’s plan.

Ken Takes Vier Hostage

Ken keeps Vier captive after finding out that he and Kelvin are back together and a major contract signing is about to happen. He wants to test Kelvin’s choice again, so he beats Vier and uses him as leverage.

Meanwhile, Kelvin waits for Vier at the signing. However, Ken suddenly calls him using Vier’s phone and threatens to kill Vier if he proceeds with the contract or refuses to come. Even though the shareholders warn Kelvin that he could lose his position as KING Group president, he still chooses to leave and save Vier. At the same time, he contacts Lalin to alert the police.

Soon after, Kelvin arrives at the location and rushes to Vier, but a gunshot stops him. Ken forces him to kneel and apologize for everything, but Kelvin refuses. Ken ends up restraining him and tying him up.

Kelvin and Vier Against Ken’s Scheme

Vier and Kelvin wake up already restrained, with leashes on their necks locking them in place. Kelvin immediately pleads with Lavid to let Vier go, but before anything can be resolved, Ken arrives and turns the situation into a twisted test of love.

He leaves the key just out of reach, warning that only one of them can survive if either tries to grab it. Kelvin insists on sacrificing himself, but Ken only escalates things by tightening their restraints around their necks.

Meanwhile, Lalin and Nana alert the police and rush them to the scene. At the same time, Ken reveals the truth to Vier and Kelvin—he was the one who killed Lalit. He doesn’t stop there and also plants a bomb in the room, locking Kelvin and Vier inside.

However, when Ken and Lavid go outside, the police close in. Lalin exposes Ken’s manipulation and confirms that he killed their father, urging Lavid not to side with Ken. Gunshots then erupt all over the place.

Kelvin and Vier Choose Each Other Over Death in Yesterday Episode 10

With minutes left on the bomb, Kelvin breaks down and apologizes to Vier. He blames himself for everything that happened, including Lalit’s death, and says he is the one who deserves to die between him and Vier.

In desperation, he tells Vier to take the keys and save himself, willing to sacrifice his life. However, Vier refuses, saying it would be a living death for him to watch Kelvin die because of him.

Then everything shifts when Kelvin hears Vier confess that he has always loved him, despite earlier believing otherwise. Overwhelmed, Kelvin finally reveals the truth about Vier’s forehead scar—he was the one who caused it, not the kidnappers. He admits he wanted to cage Vier so he would stay with him forever. After confessing, he looks into Vier’s eyes as Vier tells him to let go of the past, saying:

I came close to death once. What happened in the past, I’ve left it behind. When people truly love each other, there are no mistakes. It’s about whether or not you’re willing to forgive.

As the bomb counts down to seconds, Vier holds Kelvin’s hand and says, “I will love you until my last breath,” accepting that they may die together. However, in the final second, the police manage to stop the bomb and save them.

Yesterday The Series Ending Explained and Review

After everything, the Loyde Group falls into Lalin’s hands and becomes Lalin’s Group, while Nana and Lalin officially become a couple. Meanwhile, Lavid and Ken end up in prison. Finally, Kelvin completes his treatment, and he and Vier turn Vier’s private bar into their shared home, just as he had planned for Kelvin to finally call home.

At the end, Kelvin tells Vier that everything felt like a dream, as if it only happened yesterday. Then Vier responds, saying that after tonight, “whatever happened yesterday will stay behind as yesterday. Tomorrow is what we have to face together.”

Yesterday Episode 10

Those lines open a promising tomorrow for the two after everything—betrayal, manipulation, and pain—that happened between them in the past, as they called it “yesterday,” giving each other and their relationship a second chance, this time choosing to love each other with truth and trust.

Yesterday The Series finally concludes, and it was an intense and emotional journey to watch. Truthfully, after everything that happened, a happy ending may not have felt easy or expected for them. However, we shouldn’t question the love they chose to keep building, especially since both of them decided to give each other another chance. So maybe, as Vier says, love is really about choosing whether or not to forgive.
