This Love Doesn’t Have Long Beans Plot
All his life, Plawan has been a fan of the Phat kaphrao, also known as the Basil Stir Fry. After receiving an impressive offer, he accepts a job training under the head chef. To become Chef Oab’s successor and win Chef Oab over to his way is his secret goal. The chef, who has a strong and unforgiving appearance and a strong smell of basil, unfortunately shakes him. Apart from his renowned status as a master chef, there are reports of his severe perfectionist nature, which intimidates even his peers.
As the days go by, Plawan and Chef Oab start to develop romantic feelings for one another. They started to sense each other’s comfort. Devastated by his ex-partner’s departure and lacking passion for cooking, Chef Oab chose to look for a restaurant successor instead of simply selling the establishment to a greedy businessman.

Regretting Life Choices
It’s acceptable to reflect on past decisions made in life. Given that we are flawed human beings and sometimes do things that are inappropriate for others, reflection on past decisions is acceptable. (Human rights is undebatable for this). To obtain money from Methas, who have offered an enormous amount of money to acquire the space where the restaurant is located, Plawan lied to Chef Oab. Plawan chose to trick Chef Oab in order to get the money.
But as the days passed, Plawan started rethinking his choice. The problem was, he delayed telling Chef Oab about it. It turns out that Chef Oab knew the secret from the start, but he trusted Plawan to reveal it. Because he already has a deep attraction for Chef Oab, Plawan is scared and hesitant.
As a result of his decision, their relationship shattered. Because of this, they are both devastated: Plawan believes he should have told Chef Oab right away, and Chef Oab wonders if Plawan truly loves him given what he did.
Plawan is human, not perfect, like anybody else.
Second Chance
Following the incident, Plawan was awarded the restaurant as a reward for winning the competition. Following the confrontation, Chef Oab vanished for a couple of days, giving the impression that he wanted to cut ties with everyone. However, Plawan, who was also devastated, made the decision to convince Methas not to demolish the restaurant since, in his mind, he wants to become a chef. In addition to managing the restaurant, he will pay Methas for the rent. With the help of his best friend, JJ, who helped Methas realize that not everything could be bought with money, he decided to accept Plawan’s offer.

Second chances do not exist to set things right. However, they serve as a testament to our ability to grow, even in the face of adversity. Third chances are even more rare; this may not happen very frequently. Therefore, if you’re fortunate enough to receive one, don’t waste it.

It’s Okay To Try
The second couple is JJ and Methas. Even if neither of you had a bad first impression, this pair will make you believe in positive change. As a businessman, Methas is arrogant and self-centered, believing that he can acquire anything he wants as long as he has money. On the other hand, JJ is a physical therapist and a compassionate person who constantly looks out for his friends.
These two initially hated one another, but as time goes on, Methas begins to feel immensely comfortable with JJ. He is willing to sacrifice his top priority in life—money—to demonstrate his care for JJ. Despite his efforts to conceal his feelings for Methas, JJ is aware that he is slowly falling in love. JJ knows deep down that he is also slowly falling in love.
MethasJJ is now on the list of exceptional second couples from the Boys’ Love series that consistently make a good impact. Each episode’s character development is so satisfying and adorable. Ending up together after realizing that it’s okay to try because you never know what will happen, and you can always try again.

They grew up together despite facing numerous challenges in their lives. Plawan and Oab show that it is possible to receive the forgiveness you want as long as you sincerely desire to change and accept responsibility for your actions. The happy ending that we all desire was Plawan’s declaration that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with Oab through a marriage proposal. Everyone feels sentimental about this moment, as same-sex marriage is finally legal in Thailand.
