Pheem’s Plan in The Wicked Game Finale Episode
The finale of The Wicked Game begins with Than seeing his younger self talking to Pheem. It’s when he promised Pheem that he will always protect him. Then young Than runs away while young Pheem vomits blood.
After that scene, Than wakes up and finds Pheem gone. Than goes downstairs only to find a letter and a key from Pheem. It says that Pheem will solve his problems alone. Than doesn’t waste a second and drives his motorcycle.
Elsewhere, Pheem thanks Mrs. Nit for everything she did for him. The two hug each other and bid an emotional farewell. The moment Pheem steps out of Mrs. Nit’s car, he knows he’s walking to his death.
Chet, Risa, Pheem, and The Truth
As soon as Chet arrives, he points his gun at Pheem. He still blames Pheem for his mother’s death. But Pheem tries to prove his innocence. He brings the documents that back up his statements.
Chet picks up what Pheem is saying: Risa killed his mother. Pheem makes it clear that Risa is just manipulating both of them so she can reign over Thanavej.
As the confrontation continues, Risa arrives at the scene. She tells Pheem not to twist the story because he was the one who killed Chet’s mother. Chet’s confusion becomes visible, but he manages to piece everything together.
When Chet realizes that it was Risa who killed his mother, he becomes furious. But before he can even harm Risa, Parn arrives with Risa’s other bodyguards. They shoot Chet and Parn.
Risa then starts telling Chet and Pheem her plans of getting rid of both of them—of how Chet and Pheem will die together after having a gun fight. But Phakpoom manages to get Parn, distracting the others. The three escape, but Risa’s bodyguards follow them.

Thunder Cop to the Rescue
Than manages to follow Pheem. Though Pheem is against Than being in such a risky place, Than is willing to risk his life for him. Than and Pheem try to escape from Risa’s bodyguards, but there are too many of them.
Elsewhere, Phakpoom and Chet also run away from the guards. Chet is already wounded, so they struggle to escape. While trying to hide, Chet gets shot again, causing him to lose a lot of blood.
Meanwhile, Than and Pheem are still being followed by Parn and the others. While shooting at each other, one of the guards shoots Than. Than instructs Pheem to run and hide, then gets shot again. Yet he still fights back.
As Pheem runs, he finds a hiding place and attacks one of the guards. Than struggles to fight Parn and the others. When Parn is about to shoot him again, Pheem appears behind her—pointing a gun.
Just in time, Mrs. Nit arrives. Pheem helps Than into the car and leaves him a necklace before closing the door. Mrs. Nit immediately drives off.
Than sees Parn shooting Pheem multiple times until he falls into the river.
Chet and Phakpoom—The Genuine Love
Since episode 1, Phakpoom never leaves Chet’s side. Like what Chet sometimes calls him—he’s a dog that keeps following him.
Because Chet is losing too much blood, he knows he won’t make it. So instead of running, he talks to Phakpoom.
You stupid dog, you’ve been following me everywhere. But the place I’m going to, you absolutely must not follow me there.
It’s an emotional scene—probably the most emotional one in the series. Though Phakpoom insists on bringing Chet to the hospital, Chet doesn’t let him.
Thank you for always staying by my side. I know I’m not a good person, but you’ve never abandoned me. Sorry for causing you trouble. Before I die, can you do one last favor for me? Go live your own life. Forget everything about me. Don’t avenge me. I can finally rest. Live happily.
Chet might’ve done bad things, but with Phakpoom, he’s always genuine.

Pheem’s Gone in The Wicked Game
The scene shifts to Than and Pheem in a glowing, dreamy setup. The two plan their honeymoon. Pheem plans their Venice trip and the places they will go.
Than says he wants to be with Pheem forever. This is where Pheem tells him they can’t be together forever. As if snapped back into reality, Than’s parents enter the room and find Than staring into space.
As they approach him, they find a broken child—a broken heart. They tell Than to be strong as he cries his heart out over Pheem’s passing.
Elsewhere, Than is accompanied by his friends. But even with their company, Than can’t hold back his tears. Flashbacks of his happy times with Pheem appear, saying he never loved like this before.
While mourning, a lawyer calls Than, telling him that Pheem left all his inheritance to him. Than realizes Pheem married him so he could do this.
The Evidence to Risa’s Crime
Risa finally takes over Thanavej—just like she planned. But her success doesn’t last long. A video appears from the night Chet died. It shows Risa telling Pheem and Chet her plans of getting rid of them.
When the video appears, media rushes to the hospital. Parn and the guards try to hide Risa. As they escape, Than appears. He says she can no longer hide from the evidence.
Yet Risa confidently says Than can’t do anything to her—like Chet and Pheem. Then Phakpoom arrives and shoots them. Than tries to stop him, but Phakpoom doesn’t budge.
Phakpoom kills Parn and Risa, but amidst the shooting, he also gets hit multiple times. This leads to his death, still remembering Chet.

The Two Sides of Goodbye
Than continues mourning Pheem’s death. He talks to Pheem, saying he misses him. Than also mentions what happened to Thanavej. While reminiscing, he grows emotional again, saying he misses Pheem so much.
Then a voice answers him. Pheem is alive (plot twist of the century). It turns out Pheem and Mrs. Nit planned everything.
Before meeting Chet that night, Pheem wore his bulletproof vest. He also managed to capture a video of Risa through his necklace. This was the evidence Than used.
While healing his wounds, Pheem also handles documents—especially things that will end his connection to Thanavej. Pheem chooses to change his name and just live with Than.
The Wicked Game ends with Pheem and Than choosing each other above anything else.
The Wicked Game Ending Explained and Review
Honestly, the ending of The Wicked Game is kinda mid. With Pheem being alive at the end, it somehow doesn’t fit the story. Yes, Pheem is someone who always plans ahead, but I think it would’ve been more fitting to leave Pheem dead.
It might be harsh, but I feel like the ending was forced. Still, I’m glad to see Than and Pheem having their happy ending.
Yet what aches the most is Phakpoom and Chet. Their bond throughout the series managed to tuck something inside me. Chet was never good, but he would never let anything happen to Phakpoom. Same goes for Phakpoom, who will risk everything for Chet. It was a beautifully tragic story.
With Parn and Risa, I can only see two women trying to prove themselves. I don’t have much to say about them, but applause to Risa for manipulating the men around her.
What makes this series impactful is the fact that somewhere in this universe, Pheem’s family really exists. A father who can’t take care of his family, the result of power, siblings fighting for inheritance, and many more. It’s a mirror of reality.
The Wicked Game truly puts us in a game that will either put us in happy mode or tearful stages.

Despite the series ending, DaouOffroad promises an international fan meeting during The Wicked Game Finale Event, and Manila is included. So don’t miss this DaouOffroad event and watch out for more details!
