The story plot of The Boy Next World brings the fans into another dimension during the airing of episode 8, narrating the life stories of Phukan and Cirrus in different worlds.
Following the car accident of Cirrus in episode 7, the story continues in the hospital where Cir was admitted. Zone, Wim, and Phu rushed to see him. However, another challenge occurred when they were stopped by Cir’s mom’s assistant.
Phu, devastated by Cir’s condition, felt his world crumble when he realized that Cir couldn’t remember him. Due to the car accident, Cir seemed to lose his memory of Phu. But, as episode 8 continues, there is a deeper story behind it.

Cirrus and his parallel world
It seems like Cirrus wasn’t dreaming at all!
Cirrus’ alternate self has revealed that before the present Cirrus, there were more Cirrus that came before him. Each had a different personality, a different life, and a different story with Phukan. But the middle point—each Cir found light when they met Phu.
The alternate self of Cirrus showed the present Cirrus some of the encounters of other Cir with Phu. One of these was when Cir met Phu in their company. Initially, Cir exhibited a cold demeanor towards Phukan and treated him harshly. However, after Phu’s rescue, Cir has developed a deep affection for Phu.
How will the parallel world affect the present relationship between Cirrus and Phukan?
Cirrus’ Fiancé and Phukan
In episode 8, the fiancé of Cirrus was finally revealed—Lukprae. Phukan stepped back after he met Cir’s fiancé, adding to his melancholic state. However, even though Cir cannot remember anything, he doesn’t show any affection toward his fiancé.
Wim also showed his dislike towards Lukprae as he was trying to enlighten Cir with his relationship with Phu. In addition, Lukprae went to Phu’s university to confront him. Luckily, Phu’s friend came to help him face Lukprae.

Phukan and his feelings towards Cirrus
Although it was a hard time for Phu, he finally admitted to himself how important Cirrus is in his life. He finally came to terms with the fact that he wanted Cirrus for himself, even if he came from the parallel world.
Phukan rushed to see Cirrus to confess his feelings, even though Cir could not remember him. He told him that he loves Cirrus and that he will not let anyone come between them—whether Phukan in the parallel world or Cir’s fiancée.
After Phu’s confession and when he was about to leave, Cir grabbed him. Could the relationship between Cirrus and Phukan ultimately reach a positive conclusion?
