The story follows Phukan, who never dated anyone, and Cirrus, the Ice Prince of the campus. When their world collided, everything seemed to become confusing, yet intriguingly mesmerizing. The recent episode aired on February 9, 2025.
In the opening scene of The Boy Next World Episode 6, Phukan encounters Cirrus’ mother’s assistant. The assistant offered Phukan a sum of money in exchange for keeping him away from Cirrus. However, Phukan refused the offer, standing his ground. He firmly held onto his principles and didn’t get swayed by the offer.
Phukan’s fate that day seems to be meeting the people related to Cirrus. Shortly after he walked away from the assistant’s arrogant presence, he bumped into Cirrus’ younger brother, Ozone.

Cirrus’ Confession About Parallel World
During Episode 5, it was revealed that the acclaimed parallel world of Cirrus never existed. It was just an illusion, a world he created where Phukan was his lover.
Thus, in The Boy Next World Episode 6, Cirrus confessed to his childhood friend, Wim, about his play pretend. He explained that due to his love for Phukan, he started to dream about them being together. This is why he told Phukan that they’re together right after he woke up in a coma in Episode 1.
Even being shocked with his friend’s revelation, Wim didn’t condemn Cirrus with his decisions.

The Plan of Getting Cirrus Out
As the episode progresses, Wim tells Phukan about Cirrus’ past, which helps him comprehend Cir’s mother’s conduct. After hearing what Cir had gone through as a result of his mother’s actions, Phukan was determined to help him.
Cir and his mother made a pact in exchange for his four (4) years of independence at university. As a result, Phukan and Wim begin to strategize how to release Cir from his mother’s shackles.
Their strategy for stirring up his mother’s emotions began when Wim disclosed Cir and Phu’s romance on campus.

Jin and Wim’s Endless Bickering
Wim, Cir’s best friend, and Jin, one of Phu’s closest friends, start to develop their connection. In the previous episodes, Jin was continuously trying to annoy Wim to get his attention. He even went for Cir’s help in reaching Wim—only because he wanted to watch an indie film with him!
Their appearance poses a very playful setting, making the story more interesting.
In this episode, the relationship of these two seems to have progressed. Their quarrels aren’t something the viewers should worry about due to its cutesy vibe.
