The last episode of The Boy Next World just concluded, testifying to the love between Cirrus and Phukan and how they fought until the end.
It has been a long journey for Cirrus and Phukan. During episode 10, The Boy Next World‘s last episode, both of them showed their bravery when it comes to loving someone, accepting who they are, and forgiving what they’ve done.

The revelation of Cirrus’ parallel world
During episode 9, viewers were left hanging after Phu learned the truth about the parallel truth.
In this episode, Cirrus had no choice but to confess his lies to Phukan. Hearing the truth broke Phu’s heart, leaving him dismayed at Cirrus’ actions. Due to this, Phukan started to avoid Cir, refusing every explanation Cir had.
Phukan’s response wasn’t due to hate, following Wim’s sentiments that Phu must have been angry. However, he’ll never hate Cirrus for whatever it costs.
Wim and his feelings towards Jin
Jin and Wim finally had the time to talk things out after Cirrus told Wim that Jin wasn’t lying about him being able to hear people’s thoughts. Jin willfully explained that he didn’t mean to pry into other people’s minds. In fact, he’s always been afraid to tell people the truth because he might have been called crazy or merely lying.
But Wim is an exception simply because he liked him!
Wim, on the other hand, assured Jin that he would never run away even after knowing Jin’s ability. The relationship between Wim and Jin started off with teasing but ended up having a genuine connection.
Their story was a reminder that accepting yourself is one of the most important things in the world. When you accept who you are, other people also will. But if they don’t, at least you know yourself better than anyone.

The confession of Cirrus
As Phukan continues to refuse Cir’s explanation, Cirrus decides to just record himself while explaining everything to Phukan.
Cirrus admitted that he lied about the parallel world, all because he loved Phukan. All the things he did were unjustifiable, but he meant no harm to Phukan. He just wants to take care of Phukan as best as he can.
At first, Cirrus didn’t really expect anything in return from Phukan. But after his car accident, he thought that it’d be his opportunity to finally get to know Phukan. This is why he claimed that he’s from the parallel world.
Cirrus also revealed the things that he did to Phukan, even without Phu recognizing them. He was just happy taking care of Phukan in the shadows. Cir said that although he knew he was lying, he couldn’t bring himself to confess to Phukan after all that they went through.
He can’t live without Phukan, so he continues living inside the world that he created.
After hearing Cirrus’ explanation, Phukan finally understood him.
Cirrus’ confrontation with his mother
What’s a drama if there’s no spice at all?
Cirrus finally mustered the resolve to confront his mother as the series came to a close. He steadfastly refused to marry Lukprae and struggled for his love of Phukan. Cirrus stood up to his mother, informing her that he was not her property but rather a person.
In the midst of the chaos, Zone and Cir’s father arrived. Zone bravely confronted his mother and offered to take Cir’s place in exchange for his brother’s freedom.
Cir’s father also prayed for forgiveness, knowing that he had abandoned Cir in his mother’s care only to subject him to cruel loving.
