The story of Chi Cheng, Suo Wei, Shuai, and Cheng Yu has come to an end as Revenged Love bid its goodbye after 24 episodes with a heartfelt ending—a sweet farewell.
Revenged Love aired its final episode on August 12, 2025, on Viki, VIU Philippines, and the official Revenged Love YouTube channel. The finale depicted the closing chapter of Chi Cheng and Suo Wei’s love story, as well as the deepening bond between Shuai and Cheng Yu.
Starring Tian Xu Ning as Chi Cheng, Zi Yu as Wu Qi Qiong / Wu Suo Wei, Liu Xuan Cheng as Jiang Xiao Shuai, and Zhan Xuan as Guo Cheng Yu.
Revenged Love follows Suo Wei, who comes from a less financially stable background. Because of his economic status, his girlfriend breaks up with him, pushing him to start various businesses and change the course of his life.
One day, Suo Wei discovers that Yue Yue already has a new boyfriend—Chi Cheng. With the help of his friend, Shuai, he plots to steal Yue Yue’s boyfriend. But his plan backfires when he finds himself falling for Chi Cheng instead. Meanwhile, as Shuai assists Suo Wei with his schemes, he becomes entangled with Cheng Yu, Chi Cheng’s childhood best friend.
As lies become the foundation of their relationships and the past continues to haunt them, the characters face emotional struggles and heartbreaking choices.

Chi Cheng’s Message to Suo Wei in Revenged Love Final Episode
In the previous episode, Suo Wei visited Chi Cheng in jail. After Suo Wei revealed everything he had done to help Chi Cheng get out, Cheng told him that he hated him—those were the last words Cheng left with him before returning to his cell.
In the final episode, Cheng Yu visited Suo Wei to give him a letter from Cheng. The note read: “I don’t hate you. I can’t bear for you to do that.”
Throughout the series, Chi Cheng’s only wish was to give Suo Wei a comfortable life. But when he saw Suo Wei give up everything for him—the company, his parents’ house, and even selling sugar figures again—it softened him.
It wasn’t just an act of helping Chi Cheng or proving himself to Cheng’s family. It was Suo Wei’s love, laid bare.

The Trial of Chi Cheng: Guilty or Not Guilty?
The day of Chi Cheng’s trial arrived. Cheng Yu, Shuai, and Mr. and Mrs. Chi were present, but Suo Wei stayed away, afraid that Cheng might not be freed.
Still, he waited anxiously for news, confident in Cheng’s innocence but unable to stop overthinking.
When the real culprit finally surrendered and Cheng walked free, the first person he sought was Suo Wei. Meanwhile, upon hearing the news, Suo Wei happily handed out free sugar figures to children.
Two people—one patiently waiting, one desperately searching—finding comfort in each other’s presence once more.
Suo Wei Fell Asleep in Cheng’s Arms
After Cheng’s release, the two spent precious time together, as though they’d been apart for years. For the first time since Cheng’s arrest, Suo Wei slept peacefully—two days straight, in Cheng’s arms.
Cheng didn’t eat or leave his side for even a moment. This scene showed how deeply they had missed each other.
Cheng Yu and Shuai also stayed nearby, cooking for them and quietly caring for them. It was more than romantic love—it was friendship strengthened through hardship.

Cheng Yu’s Gift for Shuai
Cheng Yu and Shuai’s relationship may not have started smoothly, but it became one of the most genuine bonds in the series. It was peaceful, comfortable, and patient.
To make Shuai happy, Cheng Yu sold his snake farm to help expand Shuai’s clinic—something Shuai had always dreamed of. Shuai initially refused the gesture, but Cheng Yu told him to consider it his betrothal gift.

Chi Cheng’s family finally accepted Suo Wei—a precious gift for someone who had lost both parents. Cheng even bought back Suo Wei’s parents’ house and searched everywhere for the exact tree Suo Wei loved, the one with a “W” carved into its branch.
Cuddling together in that house, they smiled as though nothing else in the world existed. When Suo Wei said, “I’m finally home,” it was clear he didn’t mean the house. His home was Chi Cheng—and wherever Cheng was, Suo Wei would never be lost.

Revenged Love Ending Explained
As Revenged Love reached its final episode, the feels of the series keep lingering—starting from how Chi Cheng and Suo Wei’s story unfolded.
It wasn’t exactly romantic; in fact, it started with lies. But what their relationship taught us is that you can never lie to yourself nor play with the fire of love. Their story is a reminder that lies cause more harm than good.
But if you ask me, I’d say this series became more magical because of Chengyu and Shuai. Their slow-paced love, though simple, was genuine—and that’s something I hold dear. It was patient, peaceful, and calm. A kind of love that reminds us we deserve more than just the bare minimum.
Two stories, two different kinds of love—that’s how Revenged Love exposed itself. It may have ended, but the lingering pieces of its episodes will remain etched in the viewers’ hearts—just like it does in mine.
Revenged Love isn’t just a milestone for Chinese BL dramas—it’s a gem in the BL community. Every summer, the story of Chi Cheng, Suo Wei, Shuai, and Cheng Yu will be remembered.
