The Truth Behind Punn’s Identity in Revamp: The Undead Story Episode 4
Episode 4 opens with Punn talking to Jet about his final mission—to kill Ramil. Flashbacks of Punn’s first encounter with Ramil are shown, reflecting his inner turmoil about whether he should go through with the mission or not. To ease his mind, Punn returns home, but not before promising Ramil that he’ll come back.
The scene then shifts to Punn’s collection of knives and other vampire-killing weapons. Among them is his collection of necklaces taken from vampires he had slain—one of which is identical to the necklace Ramil wears.
Punn later asks Jet and the others to meet him at Orion. When he faces Jet, Punn immediately confesses that he wants to abort the mission. This enrages Jet, who reminds him why they became Hunters in the first place—to avenge the bloodshed caused by vampires.

The Past of Jet, Elise, and Punn
Meanwhile, Methas, deeply concerned for his master’s safety after learning Punn is a Hunter, begins to investigate further. He discovers that Jet, Elise, and Punn were the sole survivors of a massacre that occurred ten years ago—an event he suspects was connected to vampires.
Elise, still haunted by that night, voices her frustrations over Punn backing out of the mission. She tells him that even though it happened long ago, she relives the fear every night.
For her, the only way for Punn to finally leave his Hunter past behind is to kill Ramil, the last blood of the Jonoel family. According to Elise, there’s no need to eliminate all vampires—only Ramil. Punn’s determination wavers, his mind torn between love and duty.

Ramil’s Strongest Ability—Mind Reading
As Methas’ suspicions prove true, he chooses not to harm Punn, knowing how much Ramil cares for him. During a conversation with Punn, Methas reveals something even more shocking: apart from Ramil’s speed, healing, and transformation abilities, he can also read minds. This realization shakes Punn, as it means Ramil has likely known his true intentions all along.
Desperate, Punn rushes to Ramil, only to find him holding the very knife intended to end his life. Ramil admits he has always known the truth but wanted to hear it directly from Punn. Tearfully, Punn confesses that he is indeed a Hunter and that his mission was to kill him.
Instead of resisting, Ramil holds Punn’s hands and tries to stab his own heart with the knife. Devastated by Ramil’s willingness to die for him, Punn breaks down, admitting he cannot kill him. In a heart-stopping moment, Ramil pleads with Punn to let him take care of his heart. Two different worlds bound by love, Punn and Ramil finally confess their feelings and share an intimate moment together.

Episode 5 teases Punn’s decision to leave Ramil’s house to sort out his feelings. Elise, however, warns him that if he refuses to continue the mission, he must learn to let Ramil go.
