Thee sent a letter to Rati, asking him to meet. During lunch, Thee fetched Rati at the bridge near a lake using his boat. Together, they strolled around the lake area.

The Match Between Mek and Dech

Mek was asked by a friend if he would like to try fighting in Muay Tab Chak. However, Mek declined, saying that it wasn’t for him.

But after seeing Dech fight in a small ring filled with palm leaves and learning about the prize (30 baht), Mek decided to challenge Dech. Both blindfolded, Mek and Dech began their fistfight.

After the match, Mek was declared the winner. However, Dech wasn’t pleased and went looking for him.

Later, as fate would have it, Dech was on his way home and happened to ride in Mek’s vehicle. During the ride, Dech caught a familiar scent—the same one he remembered from the fight.

The Familiarity of Home

Rati and his adoptive father, Lutin, returned to their home in Siam, where Lutin’s late wife’s family lived. There, Rati met his adoptive mother’s father and brother. He also met Dech, who, as it turned out, was his cousin.

However, his mother’s family—especially his uncle—treated him as an outsider. Since Rati was adopted, they acted with clear hostility toward him.

Despite this, Rati expressed how much he missed her. Yet again, his mother insisted that Rati was the son of Lord Lutin and Lady Rung.

Heartbroken by how she rejected him, Rati stayed in his room alone.

Thee’s Kind Gesture Towards Rati

When Thee learned that Rati wasn’t eating, he immediately went to the bridge, hoping to find him. There, he found Rati and invited him to join him for lunch.

Thee brought Rati to the home of Miss Ruedi, his friend. There, Rati also met Tiwa, Thee’s younger brother.

Ruedi, Rati, Thee, and Tiwa shared lunch together, savoring Ruedi’s delicious dishes. While enjoying the food, Rati suddenly cried silently, remembering his mother. He began to share his story with Thee and the others.
