Melody of Secrets episode 4 narrates the relationship of Pleng and Thunphob in the past. Tan reveals the real reason why he approached Pleng.
In Melody of Secrets episode 4, which aired on December 26, 2025 via GMMTV YouTube Channel and VIU, the past of Botpleng and Thunphob is explored. Phob plans to live with Pleng, but then Pleng disappears. When Tan discovers that Phob’s death might not be an accident, he plans to approach Pleng as a suspect. However, Tan admits that along the way, he catches feelings for Pleng.

The Flashbacks in Melody of Secrets Episode 4
Melody of Secrets episode 4 begins with a flashback of Thunphob talking to Tan. He asks Tan to lie for him and tell anyone who looks for him that he is unwell. Tan worries about him, but Thunphob says that if someone asks, he will simply say that his name is Tankhun.
Tan asks him why he leaves home every day. Phob says that he is searching for his beautiful melody. Elsewhere, Phob sits under a tree with Pleng.
The scene then shifts to Tan and Pleng sitting in front of Phob’s grave. Tan says that Phob was no longer able to contact Pleng. Pleng says that maybe it happened when he got into the accident. Still, Phob never stopped looking for Pleng.
Phob returned to Thailand five years ago to look for Pleng again and to live with him. However, Tan instead found Phob’s dead body. In another flashback, Tan and Dao stand in front of a corpse that is now only bones. Tan examines the body and the evidence when Dao gives him a watch—Phob’s watch.
Back in the present, Tan says that he will find whoever killed Phob. Pleng approaches Phob’s grave, thanks him, apologizes, and bids him goodbye.
The Suspects in Phob’s Death
Tan asks Pleng how long he has been close to Muenmile. Pleng asks if Tan suspects him. Tan says that the people closest to someone are often the ones hiding something. Pleng asks Tan if he also does not trust him.
Tan replies, “The closer the person is to you, and the more you trust them, the more you need to watch out.” Pleng becomes more emotional while talking to Tan. He asks if investigating his brother’s death really requires Tan to take their relationship this far.
Pleng asks Tan if he feels nothing after doing this to his brother’s lover. Tan only tells him that he has feelings for him, which causes Pleng to walk out.
When Pleng and Tan return home, Muenmile asks what lies Tan told Pleng. Pleng then arrives and hears why Tan approached him. It turns out that Tan suspected Pleng, which is why he pretended to be his lover.
Tan says that in every case, the closest person often becomes a suspect. That is why he observed and approached Pleng. However, he is now confident that Pleng did not fake his memory loss because Phob does not exist in his memories.
Pleng says that he will bring his memories of Phob back and join the investigation—whether as a suspect or as Thunphob’s lover.

Tracing Phob’s Whereabouts in Melody of Secrets Episode 4
After Pleng agrees to help find Phob’s killer, Tan texts him that they will go to the homestay Phob mentioned—the place where Phob planned to live with Pleng. When they arrive, Pleng does not experience any memory flashes.
An old lady approaches them and asks why they are there. Tan shows her Phob’s photo, and she immediately recognizes him. After they introduce themselves, the lady mentions that Pleng was the person Phob often talked about.
The two volunteer to help with cooking but end up making a mess. Tan tries hard to make Pleng smile again, and although he succeeds through his silly actions, Pleng still keeps his walls up.
Tan reveals that he was an orphan and that Phob’s father adopted him. Phob was a sick child, so Tan offered to help take care of him. The episode also reveals how Phob got his scars—his wrists were cut.
Tan Had an Accident
Elsewhere in Melody of Secrets episode 4, Botpleng calls Tan. Instead of Tan answering, Dao picks up and tells Pleng that Tan was involved in an accident and is now at the hospital.
Pleng rushes to see him. At the hospital, he sees Tan with his arm bandaged. When Pleng asks what happened, Tan says that he was on his way to meet Dao to discuss the case when a motorcycle suddenly appeared.
This moment triggers Tan’s memory of what the motorcycle looks like—it resembles the one from before. Tan whispers that it was not an accident, but Pleng does not hear him. Pleng helps Tan until they reach Tan’s house.
Tan says that from now on, Pleng will help him with things he cannot do because of his fractured arm. Pleng cooks for Tan and even helps him in the bathroom.

Muenmile’s Confession to Pleng
Muenmile calls Pleng while he is at Tankhun’s house. When Pleng steps outside, he finds Muen waiting for him. Pleng asks how Muen knew where Tan lived. Pleng then remembers what Tan said about how the closest person often hides something.
Muen says that Pleng does not need to figure it out because everything he did was out of concern for him. When Pleng raises his voice and demands the truth, Muen yells back and admits that he loves Pleng.
Muen says that everything he does is because he loves Pleng. Pleng responds that he is fine having Muen in his life—but only as a friend. He tells Muen that he is his best friend and that will never change. However, Muen remains one of his suspects.
Elsewhere, Tan approaches Pleng to talk about Muen. Tan says that Muen is telling the truth because he is the type of person who says everything on his mind and cannot lie.
Their conversation shifts to what comes next for their relationship. While Tan hesitates, Pleng pulls him into a kiss to prove that what they have is real. Melody of Secrets episode 4 ends with Pleng and Tan making out.
Episode 5 Preview and Release Date
Episode 5 teases Pleng questioning whether he might be the one who killed Phob. He asks Tan what he would do, and Tan tells him that he would simply hold him. A voice says that if Pleng is in too much pain, he should forget—because then he does not need to remember.
Pleng’s life once again comes under threat from the same man who harmed him before. Tan asks Pleng’s grandmother if she knew Phob, but she refuses to answer. In the next episode, Pleng’s memories begin to return.
