In Love You Teacher episode 7, which aired on April 25, Sun runs away after Pobmek tells him he is tired of him, triggering a series of events that uncover the truth about Solar’s forgotten childhood. This revelation also ties back to the song that once made Sun fall asleep and later awaken as Solar.

Love You Teacher Episode 7 Recap: Sun Runs Away From Pobmek
After regaining his ability to play the guitar in episode 6, Pobmek spends weeks trying to recall the song that can help Solar and Sun fall asleep. However, tension rises when Sun, acting like Solar, asks why he keeps forcing him to sleep. Pobmek admits he is tired of Sun and his inconvenience, which deeply hurts him.
As a result, Sun runs away to his friends, the students, and asks for help to go to his mother. However, the teachers arrive first. When Sun sees Pobmek, Jee, and Sodchuen with Solar’s mother, he immediately runs again to the house next door. Pobmek quickly catches up, hugs him, and apologizes for what he said.
As they head back, Sun becomes confused, pointing to the house in front of them as theirs and calling Solar’s mother “Teacher Pranee” while searching for his own mother on her.
Solar’s Mother Isn’t Actually His Mother?
Later, while Sun sleeps, Pobmek confronts Solar’s mother about hiding the truth. She admits she has her reasons and insists everything she did was for Solar’s sake.
Solar’s mother eventually reveals the truth about Sun—she is not his real mother but his teacher, and Sun was once a troubled child who only had her as a friend. She also says she has not shared anything about his childhood because of the pain he went through.
However, Solar overhears and steps in, asking how Sun became him. His mother explains that the doctor advised her not to reveal everything yet, as forgetting may have been Solar’s way of protecting himself.
Despite this, Solar calmly says he understands her intentions but admits he feels empty not knowing his past. In the end, she promises to tell him everything when he is ready, leaving the truth waiting behind closed doors.
How Sun Became Solar in Love You Teacher Episode 6
Despite agreeing to his mother’s request to tell the truth later, Solar continues to search for it. He asks Pobmek, Jee, and Sodchuen for help to enter the house. While Jee and Sodchuen distract his mother, Pobmek sneaks in with Solar.
Inside, they find items left by his real mother, including a tape of her show. As they watch it, Solar begins to recall bits of his childhood memories—his mother’s abuse and the moment they were hit by a car.
Soon, Solar’s mother arrives, and he directly asks for the truth. After hesitating, she finally reveals that the woman in the tape is his real mother, Atsara, a former TV host who fell into depression after losing her career after giving birth to Sun. In her despair, she walked into the road with Sun, leading to the accident and her death.
When he woke up, he forgot that he was Sun and called himself Solar—a brighter sunshine ready to heal everyone’s hearts, as he puts it. His father also disappeared after the incident. In the end, Solar accepts the truth and hugs his mother, thanking her for finally telling him everything.
The Song That Made Sun Fall Asleep and Wake Up as Solar
That night, Solar starts to blame himself, wondering if his birth really caused his mother’s suffering and tragic decision. To comfort him, Pobmek asks what he would do if the same thing happened to him instead. Solar replies that he would pat his head, kiss his forehead, hold his hand, and tell him that some things just happen, good or bad. In response, Pobmek does the same to comfort him.
After Solar falls asleep, Pobmek joins Jee and Sodchuen as they watch Atsara’s tape of her singing. He then recognizes the melody as the same song that once made Sun fall asleep and later awaken as Solar. Together, they figure out the chords while Sodchuen fixes Sun’s little lion solar puppet toy.
The next morning, Pobmek plays the song for Sun. This makes him emotional, and he falls asleep again. When he wakes up, he returns as Solar. Later on, Solar decides to donate the remaining items from their old house, letting go of it.
Love You Teacher Episode 8 Preview and Release Date
Love You Teacher episode 8 teases their preparation for the school’s annual talent show, where Pobmek and Solar decide to perform on stage with Little Lion Solar. The episode premieres on May 2, and fans can watch it on GMM 25, oneD, and the GMMTV Official YouTube channel at 9:30 PM (PST).
Meanwhile, Santa Pongsapak releases another song titled “พบฟ้า (My Sky)”. The song apologizes for past pain and expresses gratitude to someone who stayed, gave love, and brought healing and a new beginning.
