Love You Teacher Episode 5 Recap: The Main Campus Representative Visits the School
Sun and the kids win first place with their play “Snow White and the Seven Avengers” in the English Department’s class play, last episode 4. Meanwhile, Teacher Jee pushes Pobmek to learn the guitar faster, believing that performing a song could help bring Solar back to normal—especially as the parents start noticing Teacher Solar’s strange behavior.
However, Pobmek assumes Acting Principal Sodchuen will handle everything, not realizing she’s already overwhelmed with school issues.
Then, Ms. Pang from the main campus suddenly arrives and questions Solar’s childlike behavior. Principal Sodchuen quickly says Solar is unavailable, but Ms. Pang insists she’ll meet him on the annual inspection day.
Because of this, Sodchuen urges Pobmek to fix Solar’s situation as soon as possible. Still, Pobmek struggles—he can barely strum the guitar without his hands shaking.
Ms. Pang’s Surprise Visit Puts Solar and Pobmek at Risk
Ms. Pang looks at Sun’s photo during Class Play Day and notices the calendar, which shows when Solar switches with Sun. The next day, she says she’ll visit on the day Solar will be himself, which briefly reassures everyone. However, she suddenly arrives a day earlier than expected—right when Solar is acting as Sun—and even brings the parents for a surprise meeting.
Because of this, the group quickly hides Sun, although he refuses at first. Pobmek scares him into cooperating by saying that Ms. Pang is a witch who takes kids’ hearts. Meanwhile, Ms. Pang questions the students about Solar. Acting Principal Sodchuen tries to stay ahead by bribing them to speak positively, but Ms. Pang counters and gets them to tell the truth—that Teacher Solar keeps switching between a child and an adult.
As a result, Ms. Pang and the parents start searching for Solar. At the same time, Solar (as Sun) runs around the school with Pobmek, trying to avoid being caught. Just before they’re discovered, Pobmek asks the kids to hide Sun while he faces Ms. Pang alone.
Then, Ms. Pang questions Pobmek’s presence and discovers he doesn’t have a teaching license. Although Sodchuen and Teacher Jee try to defend him, she firmly calls them out for violating the teachers’ code of ethics. In the end, she gives Acting Principal Sodchuen an ultimatum: fire both Solar and Pobmek—or she’ll report everything to the main campus.
Pobmek and Solar Get Another Chance in Love You Teacher Episode 5
The next day, Pobmek tries to resign, but Principal Sodchuen refuses and even threatens to resign as well. Because of this, Pobmek questions why she’s helping him when he feels like a failure—“The kids don’t even like me. No one wants to learn from me.” However, Sodchuen pushes back and reminds him, “You’re not only a good teacher. You also helped someone else become one.”
This leads to a flashback to their college days, where Pobmek supported Solar and helped him prepare for his certification exam. Encouraged by this, Pobmek regains his confidence, promises to pass the exam himself, and tears up his resignation letter.
Later, Sodchuen calls an urgent meeting with the parents and Ms. Pang. This time, they finally reveal the truth about Teacher Solar’s condition. Sun even introduces himself and explains how everyone in the school helps manage the switch between him and Teacher Solar.
However, Ms. Pang points out that Pobmek still has no teaching license and insists he should resign. In response, the students speak up and defend him, saying he is kind, hardworking, and genuinely cares about them, making them want to come to school. Because of this, the parents agree to give them another chance.
In the end, Ms. Pang accepts their decision but sets a condition: they can only continue like this for one year.
