Khem’s life was put at stake once again when Ramphueng used Grandma Si to deceive him.
Khemjira episode 8 aired on September 27, 2025 via iQIYI. This episode had a total run time of 117 minutes—making it the longest episode of the series so far. It also trended globally with 7.1 million tweets.
This episode highlighted the long-awaited confessions between Peem and Khemjira. The two finally moved beyond being strangers with their feelings. Meanwhile, Jet and Charn insisted on staying just friends until they could sort out their emotions. In addition, this episode brought another danger into Khem’s life as he became entangled in Ramphueng’s tricks, luring him closer to death.

Peem and Khemjira’s Feelings for Each Other in Khemjira Episode 8
The cliffhanger ending of episode 7 gave viewers hope that episode 8 would finally be a turning point for Peem and Khem—and it truly was. At last, the two found the courage to confess their feelings for each other.
Peem, usually known for being tight-lipped, admitted to Khem that he likes him. He revealed he had been too afraid to take the leap because of what happened to his mother. But he realized it was finally time to follow his heart.
Khem, on the other hand, was overjoyed to hear Peem’s confession. Still, they agreed to keep their relationship hidden, even from Jet and Charn, to avoid distractions. This episode definitely brought Peem and Khem closer—in every way (wink!).

Jet and Charn Agree to Stay Friends for Now
After their intimate night together, Jet and Charn’s relationship seemed to blur. Charn began clinging to Jet, but Jet asked him to slow down and just remain friends for the time being.
This upset Charn, who thought Jet might not like him. However, Jet explained that he needed time to sort out his feelings—whether his affection was truly his or simply lingering from Jin, his past life.
Although Charn disagreed at first, he eventually understood Jet’s concerns. They agreed to take things slow and enjoy each other’s company until they figured out their true feelings.
Returning to Their Past Lives
Peem suggested to Khem that it was time to revisit their past lives to understand why Ramphueng continued to curse and haunt him.
Together with Jet and Charn, they performed a ritual to recall their pasts. As the night grew darker, the four of them began to hear echoes of their previous lives. Peem urged them to stay focused on Khem and not get distracted.
Soon, the cry of a baby filled the air, followed by a blurry vision of Ramphueng. Peem also saw the figure of a man he recognized as his grandfather’s friend. After the ritual, Peem immediately went to Grandma Si to ask if she knew the man. Fortunately, she recognized him and volunteered to contact him.

Ramphueng Disguises Herself as Grandma Si
As the episode progressed and Khem’s situation improved, Ramphueng refused to give up on killing him. Taking on Grandma Si’s form, she lured Khem by asking him to help her pick lotus flowers.
She also left a dessert for Peem. However, after eating it, Peem began struggling to breathe as blood poured from his eyes and mouth. Meanwhile, Khem felt uneasy around “Grandma Si.”
When he asked her to return to shore, her head suddenly turned toward him without her body moving. Khem was then thrown into the lake, where he saw Ramphueng’s true face trying to drown him.

Episode 9 teases Peem rushing to save Khem with the help of Charn and Jet. The next episode will also reveal Ramphueng’s past, hinting at the full story behind why she seeks to harm Khemjira.
