The growing tension between Peem and Khemjira seems to become more of romantic feelings rather than dislike. Charn and Jet’s past was brought into their present life.
Khemjira episode 7 aired on September 20, 2025 via iQIYI. This episode feels like a redemption for Peem and Khem’s relationship. There was no bickering, frustration, or irritation on Peem’s face. Rather, it was filled with concern and perhaps jealousy over Khem. Charn begins to get tied up with his past life, wondering if his feelings for Jet were because of their relationship in the past or because of the present.

Eyes Don’t Lie in Khemjira Episode 7
Episode 7 kicked off with the young Peem talking to Prim, the woman who has liked him ever since. This was before Peem became a shaman. This brief flashback showed why Prim is still hung up on her feelings for Peem and still trying to pursue him.
In the present, Peem, together with Jet, Khem, and Charn, went to a place to watch the celebration of the death of the Holy Men. The event was organized by Prim’s students, and Peem was there to give his guidance. But more than just an event, it became a stage of jealousy for Peem and Khem.
Prim’s brother, Pong, was trying to pursue Khem. This made Peem uncomfortable and irritated. Meanwhile, Khem had this silent yearning for Peem every time he was with Prim. It was like getting tangled in a bond that was never spoken of.
But their eyes never lie. The way Peem and Khem steal glances at each other speaks louder than the words they refused to utter.

The Temple Fair
Pong invited Khem to go to a temple fair. Together with Charn and Jet, they enjoyed themselves walking around. Jet pulled Charn to the dance floor, leaving Khem alone with Pong.
While walking at the fair, Pong crossed paths with a rival. Initially, he was going to ignore him, but when the man hurt Khem, it triggered Pong. After throwing a punch, Pong pulled Khem to run away. They saw Jet and Charn, and the two also ran as the people chased after Pong and Khem.
However, the man after them was using black magic. A swarm of shadows followed Pong, Khem, Jet, and Charn, visible only to them. One of Peem’s disciples sensed the danger and alerted him, which is why Peem immediately came to their aid.

Charn and Jet’s Past Lives in Khemjira Episode 7
After getting out of the temple fair, Charn and Jet went to sleep together. But as soon as they were about to rest, Jet grew curious about who Jin was, since Charn had mentioned the name more than once.
Charn had no choice but to tell Jet about their past life. Jet learned that they were Khemjira’s best friends before and that he and Charn had a relationship. After a few exchanges, Jet swiftly moved in to kiss Charn.
However, Charn said it was too brief to prove his hypothesis—whether he liked Jet because of their past or because of their present. Their moment together led to an intimate and sweet encounter only the two of them knew.
Peem and Khem’s Relationship
This episode showed the glances and subtle signs of Peem’s affection for Khem. It was clearer than the blue sky. Now that Khem’s life was put in danger by someone, Peem’s feelings seem to be unfolding.
After the incident, the two talked outside. Peem saw a bruise on Khem’s back, which made him angry. When Khem asked if he was mad at him, Peem responded no. He was mad at Pong for putting Khem in danger. He was mad at himself for letting it happen.
As the episode was about to end, Peem was seen getting closer and closer to Khem—teasing a kiss between them.

Episode 8 Preview and Other Details
Episode 8 teases Prim trying to get Peem’s response to her love confession. However, Grandma Si warned Peem that if he loses “him” (probably pertaining to Khem), he might regret it. Charn and Jet also faced uncertainty in their relationship after their night together. The next episode also teases Peem telling Khem, Jet, and Charn that maybe it’s time to uncover the whole story behind their past lives.
