Khem Sacrifices Himself for Peem in Khemjira Final Episode
During the previous episode, Peem was left with ghosts strangling and cornering him because of Ramphueng’s command. Monk Kasem convinced Khem to keep his faith in Peem. But as he saw how Peem struggled to escape, he chose to give himself up.
He asked Ramphueng to let Peem go, and he would come with her. But Ramphueng refused to listen, saying he had no right to ask for favors. Yet in the end, Khem walked toward Ramphueng, almost outside the sacred ring.
Kachen, Charn, and Jet, on the other hand, were worried for Khem’s safety. Jet asked Charn if his instincts could sense whether Khem was alive or not. Charn said that Khem was still alive, but his safety was uncertain. Monk Kasem tried to buy more time by repeatedly asking Ramphueng what she truly wanted. Ramphueng only replied that she wanted Khem’s life.
However, right before Khem walked outside the ring, Peem used the tool that the Lord of the Mountain gave him. With it, he was able to defeat the ghosts. A shed of light appeared, and Peem started to chant. A naga appeared—a sacred god—and helped Peem. But in return, Peem’s body weakened as the tool was never meant to be used by a mortal. Seeing how weak Peem was at that moment, Khem chose to step forward and give himself to Ramphueng.
Ramphueng’s Revenge; Peem and Khem Receive Help
As soon as Khem stepped outside, Ramphueng began showing her wrath. She let Khem experience the amount of physical pain she went through before. Khem uttered that in the past, he had let someone die because of his dishonesty—thinking that this revenge was just meant for him.
But Peem begged him to step back and stop whatever he planned to do. Ramphueng started to strangle Khem, firm in her intent to kill him. This was when the souls of Grandma Si, Thong, Ake, and Chayos appeared beside Peem. Grandma Si told Peem to focus his mind and not let his anger take over. Khem’s mother also appeared to help him escape Ramphueng’s rage.
When Peem regained his strength, he started chanting, and Ramphueng began to weaken. The moment Peem was about to end Ramphueng, Monk Kasem asked him if he could be kind and spare her. Ramphueng then targeted the monk, asking if he would meddle in her revenge.

Monk Kasem’s Relationship with Ramphueng
Monk Kasem told Ramphueng that their fates had once again intertwined. Ramphueng was confused by what the monk was saying. As the scene shifted, Ramphueng was seen in the middle of a forest—her past flashing as her words, saying she only wanted Khem’s life, echoed.
But she saw a glimpse of herself carrying her son. It appeared that what Ramphueng truly wanted, in her deepest yet wounded heart, was motherhood. Ramphueng was just a victim of greed and selfishness. She was kind, a loving mother—but they took her son away from her.
What made the plot more surprising was how it was revealed that Monk Kasem was the reincarnation of Ramphueng’s son. When Ramphueng realized this, she begged for forgiveness, and guilt consumed her. She apologized to Khem and volunteered to receive his rage. But Khem refused to hurt Ramphueng, saying it would only tie them both once again and the cycle would never end.
In the end, Ramphueng faced her karma in the afterlife. She just wished that when the time comes, she will be able to meet and hold her son again.
Peem Loses His Power; Jet, Charn, and Khem Go Back to Bangkok
After using the tool that the Lord of the Mountain gave to Peem, he seemed to have lost his power. But according to his disciples, with the right amount of training, he would once again regain his power as a shaman. Jet and Charn came to Khem with so much happiness, knowing that they survived Ramphueng’s curse.
As the night unfolded, Kachen went to sleep in Jet and Charn’s room. This was where it was clarified if Kachen was really Jet’s first. But Jet just laughed it off, saying that Kachen was really his first—first to teach him to ride, to smoke, and to drink. That’s why Jane, his sister, dislikes Kachen.
When morning came, Khem, Jet, and Charn returned to Bangkok to continue their studies. But Khem and Peem’s relationship didn’t stop there. It’s like distance could never make their love vanish. Meanwhile, Jet and Charn finally made it official.

Khemjira Ending Explained and Review
Khemjira isn’t the typical Boys’ Love series you see out there. It’s not the usual watch for enthusiasts like me. But despite that, the series didn’t disappoint—from the story plot, the actors who played in the series, its cinematography, and even the OSTs, everything was worth the hype.
The ending wasn’t rushed, unlike some other series. It really took its time to narrate the story, resolve the conflict, and give a well-deserved ending for the protagonists. What I highly appreciate about this series is the depth of its plot.
Let’s start with where Ramphueng’s rage was rooted. Honestly, I couldn’t bring myself to hate her despite being the antagonist in the series. It’s just that her past and the reason why she’s doing all of these were justifiable. What she went through was something she didn’t deserve. Yes, she was clouded by rage and revenge. But she was once a loving and kind woman.
Khem, on the other hand, was just a victim of what happened to Ramphueng. Well, it’s quite a mirror of reality—what you do will always come back to you. Khem’s past self lied about Ramphueng, causing her sufferings. Though it wasn’t his fault, his fate was still tied to it.
I’d like to commend Peem, Jet, and Charn for how dedicated they were in saving Khem. Even at the expense of their own lives, they always came running to save him. That’s true friendship, and genuine love.
It’s kind of refreshing to see how new BLs are taking their time to produce high-quality series like this. It’s well-thought-out and definitely a gem for the BL industry.
