Why Did Jerome See the Future in Head 2 Head?
In the last episode, Jerome celebrates his 31st birthday with Jinn in heaven. He reads a letter from Jinn wishing him happiness throughout his birthdays. While lying on a bridge surrounded by water, Jerome wishes for more time with Jinn. He wishes that everything would not turn out the way it did.
This moment explains why Jerome can see the future. His wish to change everything seems to have come true. Sometime later, when their group visits the same place where Jerome made his wish, he sees his future self telling him that everything is over.
Somehow, future Jerome hints to present Jerome that he has already changed the future.
What Happened with Jinn and His Father?
At last, Jinn opens up to his father and lets him become part of their family again. He allows his father to stay in their home. Jinn’s mother asks Jerome what he did to Jinn, noticing how much he has changed. Jerome responds that it is just Jinn’s ego, but that he is genuinely trying.
Jinn also starts calling his father “dad.” This makes his mother happy as she sees him slowly open his heart to his father.

Although Van still struggles to live in the house where he once lived with his parents, having Farm by his side helps him endure it. While resting after cleaning, Farm tells Van that he cannot stop being his roommate. He playfully says that he needs someone to share the rent with.
Van replies that he needs time to think because he wants to be more than just Farm’s roommate. He says he wants to be someone who can stay by Farm’s side—someone who will love him. Van adds that he wants to become Farm’s boyfriend again.
Farm ends up kissing Van, hinting that he is opening his heart to him once more. Moreover, Van tells Farm that they are building their own family in the future.
What’s Next for Jinn and Jerome in Head 2 Head?
On New Year’s Eve, Jinn and Jerome decide to tell their parents about their relationship. Instead of reacting with surprise, their parents shrug it off, saying they already noticed. Basically, they already knew and simply stayed quiet, watching their sons fall in love.
Later at the beach, Jinn and Jerome spend happy moments together. They also celebrate their birthdays with their friends. Jerome has already lost his ability to see the future, but he still promises Jinn that he will always protect him.
It is safe to say that Jinn and Jerome grow old together, shown through Jerome’s continued effort to protect Jinn.

Head 2 Head Ending Explained and Review
The series ends beautifully. The future-related plot may feel confusing at times, but let’s be real—Jinn and Jerome’s relationship carries the story. The enemy-to-lover trope is nothing new, yet it always works. This series feels refreshing and comforting despite its familiar elements.
Head 2 Head closes by challenging the idea that fate is something to outrun. What matters instead is the choice to stop letting it dictate every step. Jerome doesn’t lose his visions, but he strips them of control once he stops bearing them in silence. Speaking up—messy and painful as it is—interrupts the pattern that once drove him away.
Jinn’s journey mirrors that shift. His anger doesn’t resolve through forgiveness or family reunions, but through taking ownership of his story. He decides when the truth enters his life and how much space it deserves. In the end, the series frames love not as a shield from harm, but as the courage to trust someone with what can still hurt.
