The Origin of the Seven-Bodies Ritual in Goddess Bless You From Death Episode 9

Goddess Bless You From Death episode 9 picks up with Thup being locked inside the shaman’s house. In the previous episode, Singha stepped outside as per Thup’s request. Moments later, the house’s doors and windows closed shut.

The shaman showed himself to Thup, angered by his trespassing. To ward off the ghosts surrounding Thup, the shaman started chanting. He appeared again and told Thup that he was not welcome.

Thup apologized for disturbing him and explained that he only wanted to know about the seven-bodies ritual. The shaman said that it was his craft and that everything comes with a price. Thup then cut his palm and let his blood spill as an offering.

The shaman revealed that the ritual was a life-extension ritual. It draws life force from the sacrifices, and once it starts, it can never be stopped. Thup mentioned that the ritual started fifteen years ago, but the shaman corrected him, saying it first happened twenty-five years ago.

The shaman then told Thup what happened in the past. A police officer asked for his help to survive a stab from a cursed knife. The cop killed people as sacrifices. Their eyes were stitched so the spirits could not see or search, while their lips were stitched so they could not curse anyone.

Thup asked who the cop was, but the shaman said he was not from Sisaket. However, Thup was destined to meet him. If he didn’t, everyone would die.

King’s Father Interferes with the Case

Elsewhere in the episode, King was surprised when his father arrived at the station. His father asked when he would finally end the case, saying he was embarrassed that his son was taking too long to solve it.

He demanded all the case details and said he would personally step in and take over. King stood his ground and told his father that he could not always interfere or force his way in.

Still, his father threatened him again—this time using his friends against him.

Darin Went to Santi Tham House

Sey asked Darin where he went during his lunch break. Darin said it was an urgent family matter. However, a flashback revealed that Darin went to see Ai Soon, the head of the Santi Tham House.

Ai Soon told Darin that he might have disturbed something bad, which was why the ghosts refused to leave him alone. Darin said that the ghosts wanted to take him, but he didn’t want to go.

Ai Soon warned him that the ghosts would not let go easily and that Darin needed to do a lot of good deeds. Only then would the ghosts release him. Ai Soon also warned that the people Darin loved would be in danger.

King, Singha, and Thup Work Together

Although Thup was still jealous of King, the three of them continued working together on the case. King went to Sisaket to tell Singha about his father’s interference, but he assured him that this time, he would do things right.

The three went to the hospital in Sisaket to look for information about the cop’s sick son. Elsewhere, Thup’s aunt was walking on the stairs when the ghost in white touched her foot, causing her to fall.

Back with the trio, King found documents about the cop’s son. The details matched the year and age of Anuphap Boonprim. King asked a man at the hospital if the surname sounded familiar. The man recalled that there used to be a nurse with that surname named Chaba.

He showed them her photo and said she left twenty-five years ago. Thup pulled Singha aside and said that the nurse looked exactly like the ghost he kept seeing. King asked for more details, and the man said that Chaba’s husband was a police officer, though no one really knew him.

Meanwhile, Thup’s uncle called to inform him that his aunt was hospitalized, preventing Thup from continuing the investigation with Singha and King.

Singha and King Look for Chaba’s Husband in Goddess Bless You From Death Episode 9

King and Singha went to the police station in Sisaket. Singha asked about the seven-bodies case from twenty-five years ago, but the officer said no one remembered a case that old. However, he mentioned that Sergeant Ket might know something.

They found Sergeant Ket, who initially acted lazy and claimed not to remember Chaba’s husband. But when King threatened to report the station’s operations to higher authorities, the sergeant suddenly remembered.

He said that Chaba was the wife of Sergeant Atikun. He searched for Atikun’s files and revealed that Atikun had died long ago.

Singha asked if he remembered the seven-bodies case. The sergeant said that none of the bodies were ever claimed. As Singha and King were about to leave, the sergeant called them back and handed them more documents.

Later that night, King and Singha drank with the sergeant. He mentioned Ta Khuean and explained his connection to Chaba. Khuean fought with his wife because he was having an affair with the nurse. During the fight, Khuean accidentally killed his wife and fled.

Goddess Bless You From Death episode 9 ends with Thup seeing the ghost in white—likely Chaba—and getting captured by her.
